Happy Hour

After doing chores around the...wait, I have no chores...we did take the car to get the plates done at the car dealer...and we did hunt for an RV book at the book store...but...you really can't call them chores, can you?...maybe so...

Friends...as you leave an area and are home based in a totally new state and all...the one thing that you lose...is your old friends...time marches on...and what you had in common is now poof...you try to stay in touch...but things make it harder and harder to do so...I must say, that my blog gives a glimpse at what we are doing...but the other end?...no clue...which is the beauty of Facebook...where some people post what is happening in their lives...but, really you just drift apart...sad...

Which makes the RV trip we are about to make, bittersweet...meet up with peops that we have been apart from 9 years...and with the reunion, 50...eegads...and I have kept in zero contact with any of them blokes...should be a quick night...especially since I taught at the old school...oh well...even my coaching and golfing buddies have moved out of that area...which directs us to Bend...where we will meet up...

So we had time to reminisce...we had a Happy Hour on our deck...a different world that we used to live in...so we said...and watched the world pass us by...people going here and there in the GQ...amazing how many are milling about...a totally new life for us...with a totally new environment...you know what the old adage is, "you can't go back"...is kind of hitting home...I have 2nd and 3rd thoughts about the excursion...am I right or wrong?...

Enough...

The Pads did the magical...won it's 2nd in a row...with back to back pitching gems, from guys who have not been doing so...Cashner this time...and some timely hitting...a key home run by Justin Upton...one bad thing...our ever improving 2B Spangenberg got taken out hard on a double play ball...wracked his knee...I'm sure he'll go on the DL...gulp, you know who they will bring up...Gyorko...hope his stay in AAA improved him...anyway, we go for a sweep today after noon...

The 6th shark attack in 2 weeks in Carolina...hmmm...the critters are hungry, kids...and are moving closer and closer to shore...at least in the Atlantic...just a suggestion, maybe, just maybe, you all should be swimming in pools...and fuggit about the ocean...

Figured this was going to happen...the removal of the Confederate Flag...has brought about feelings for those who still believe...and are involved in the history of the south...and there are gatherings to celebrate that flag...stay tuned...

Whatever happened to the plane?...now don't you feel that there has to be some type of funny business involved?...I mean, c'mon...in this day and age of screening all the flying devices...we just lose a plane?...

Did you see what David Crosby (CSN) said about the one and only Kanye West?...that he is basically a nobody...a poser...that has no real musical ability...ha ha...really?...I sense a rebuttal in the works...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
