It's a Good Day
The Pads needed the W in the worst way...as it was the offense that woke up and scored 6...with two guys flirting with the never before achieved "cycle" by a Padre...Venable and Myers, both Will's...for you non-baseballers, that is a single, double, triple, and HR in the same game...each had 3 parts...and the record stands...no SD has yet to do it...concern?...our ace, Shields, gave up 4 more dingers...and leads the league in that distinction...and not a good one...yet, he got the win...has to be pitching lower in the zone...
NBA...the Bulls won the game on a prayer by Rose...a last second banker from downtown...and lead the series 2-1 over the over-hyped Cavs...and LeBron...shweet....and the Clip Joint used the return of CPIII to destroy the brainless Rockets...and Austin Rivers?....threw in 25!...career day...and the game was a laugher early in the 3rd Q...and get this...LA's Matt Barnes...lipped off to a fan, who just turned out to be Houston Star, James Harden, his mother...in Texas...and got fined $50 grand...what?...lordy, if that were the case...back when Barkley played, he'd have paid in the millions for his lipping...must be cuz the league is so sensitive for mother's day...I'm sure she was saying nothing to initiate the fond remarks...not a mother...
Yes, I am finally getting a new computer...still Apple, kids...everything I have is Mac...and am torn between iMac and the laptop...I leave this plugged in all the time...do not use it as a traveling piece of machinery...so it kind of makes sense to get the iMac...will go into the Apple Store and get persuaded...the price is very similar...and yup, Marsh finally stepped up to the iPhone 6...the people there are great and she didn't leave until she was completely set up and had a great understanding of it...and we both went to the fingerprint opening of the phone...way cool...and also, the Apple Pay...we'll see...
We are getting the much needed wet stuff...and it is the here and then now then not at all version...still, very needed...and the indigenous ones of this area are ecstatic...they lurve the rain...obviously not from the PNW...
Tommy Brady...Deflategate...the QB...discipline to happen soon...and he's making light of it all...to me?...a pompous jerk...and hope the NFL throws the book at him...something makes me think that they will react just the opposite...maybe fine him...and maybe sit out a game...in lieu of a much more severe penalty...stay tuned...supposed to be announced this next week...
