Sham or Shame?

Rescind is the topic...the more I thought about it, the more I got disgusted...The NBA's dealing with the Oklahoma City's star guard, Russell Westbrook...as he went into the no zone...got his 16th technical foul...and the rule is...you then have to sit out the next game...BTW, he had one other rescinded a couple of weeks ago...which gets me here...

The playoffs start in a few days...and OKC is in a donnybrook with the Pelicans for the 8th and final spot...without Westbrook, there is a slight chance of getting a win in the game with the Blazers...they have to get the V...and somehow, the league took the tech back...and he played...and they won...keeping their hopes alive...

I watched the tech...he deserved it...and the official had no option...immediately, Westbrook, knew what he had done...tried to undo it...put his arm around the official...an ugly piece of the puzzle that pro sports throw out...it's worse in the NFL...yet, we watch and are in dismay...it's either a shame or a sham...wonder what the ruling bodies are thinking...to me, stinks to new depths...

By the way, you Blazer faithful...you have and they have...NO CHANCE!...injuries and the lack of coaching will give a one and done set...do wager on this...it's a lock...

Quick, name all the blokes and blokettes that have announced they are running for prez...makes no diff what party, name 'em...geez, who is telling them they have a bloody chance?...

Norovirus...we have two docked cruise ships here...and they are let out and run the good city...geez...

Speaking of stinkers...the Pads laid one on us last eve...as we dropped our 1st one versus the DBacks...big error that opened the flood gates...gave up 4 early...and when we went to our relief crew...we used the pair that are in when the game is over...especially Kelley...need to drop him and bring up Quack...no duh...why is it easy for me to see, and not for the managing crew?...

You think Jordan Spieth is just starting?...you bet!...a class act...and will give the majors a good run...NOW!...should be fun to watch...

An article in the Trib about the Bolt's brass running up to the great state of Orygun to give the QB Mariota a good look at...ha ha...give me a break...they are dangling SD's Rivers to the Titans for the number 2 pick in the draft...right, Tennessee will do that...get some old guy, that has a few years left, for a kid who has 10+...duh...here, drink this kool aid....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
