Great Friday

Hang on, kids...this isn't a spiritual take...all Fridays seem great to me...has to be the teacher part of my life...just loved the day...it was the precursor to the much needed weekends...why didn't the religious guys call it "Great Friday?"...don't answer me, it is rhetorical...

The Padres have broken up their Cactus League and are in prep for opening day at the Bums...start this Saturday at Petco with a fans appreciation day...which includes a game versus the top team out of Mexico...it's a free thinger...BUT...all the spots are taken...you can't get in...just a sign of what is coming...we still have some very critical cuts to make...and some very good players are going to get their walking papers...

Watched Golden St play Phoenix last eve on the pixels...and they played it too cool...rotating the 2nd unit more than usual...and almost got their arse beat...the Suns are terrible...it took a luck bag shot at the end for the W...

Duke over MSU...players are better...regardless of what you think of the coaching...Izzo doesn't play, kids...and Kentucky over Wisconsin...ending the miracle run by the ageless Badgers...it's the seniors against the frosh...and these Wildcats are pros in less than 3 months...the other team?...coaches in 5 years...

Kenya massacre...you think that the Muslim/Christian issue isn't life threatening there?...what a waste of lives...and it's time for a radical change...I just can't imagine...

I've got no more excuses...picked up my clubs...switched out my bag...and have what I need to be what I can be in the difficult world of hackdom...off until tomorrow...and then a roadie next week...eegads, that's scary...

LPGA...it's their first major over in the Palm Springs area...used to be the Dinah Shore...and wouldn't you believe, tiny little Morgan Pressel is in the lead...she is tenacious...pulling for her...

PGA...wild show in Texas...the last prelim to the Masters...and they try to set up their course as similar as they can to Augusta...so more of the blokes will show up and play there...and get this, Lefty is in the mix!...he loves the Masters...

Got the itch to buy a Class B RV...has to be small enough to maneuver about...and that Marsh can drive, too...yet big enough to sleep in comfortably...like this weekend we would hit the road for a trip if we had one...and be able to take the dog, too...maybe pipe dreams...what does that mean?...you have to smoke one, to have them?...I dunno...

The more I read and listen about the Bolts, I fear they are a done deal here in SD...according to my golfing buddies, they originally came from LA...so they may be going back...or ARE...

Seems like the spring breaks must be staggered...cuz, there are a zillion kids all over the GQ...last 2 weeks...

The lack of water in Cali is a major issue...peops are ridding themselves of lawns...conservation tactics abound...won't be long for the golf courses to be brown...most of those who are thriving, have underground wells...natural type...makes sense that there has to be more ocean water conversion plants...right?...

This city continues to grow leaps and bounds...more high rises...more people are opting for the city life...it truly is amazing...NOW is the time to make the move...as the prices continue to go up like the structures are...
