Me brain churns a lot...at what many of the pundits are screaming..."the collegiate game of basketball must change"...to the present style of play of the NBA...what?...NBA?...even the morose of an analyst, Jon Berry, decries to a 38-36 score in it..."these have got to stop!"...ah yes, the beautiful play of the NBA...pick and roll...find a guy stationed on the 3 point line and fire away...

Gone is the beauty of the game...the patterns..the ball movement...the post up play...there are those who still do some...the Spurs and the Hawks...in fact, it was how SA beat the Heat last year...spend more of the clock and get the ball to the guy that LeBron was guarding...he quit after 12 seconds...and stationed himself at the hoop...ha ha...it's true...

The shot clock is really the culprit...those morons want to adopt the 24 second one to the college kids...the real reason is that they want to rid themselves of any defensive play...the team that they want to rid themselves of?...Virginia...who is patient in their O...and are very successful at it...and it drives them crazy...

I feel the opposite...I like the pattern play...the passing game...the flex...the whatever...not just one play that the pros use...and my goodness, whatever happened to the fast break?...if you get to see more than a couple of 3 laned breaks in a game, it is way special...and lordy, if you are a big guy, you are through after your years in college...that type of play is gone, baby, gone, in the NBA...

Why all the horrible free throw shooting?...and the hack a whomever...there are so many blokes who can't shoot now...why?...and the cry about lack of practicing...blaming it on the high school coaches...hmmm...there is enough blame to share...

So, kids, enjoy this Big Dance...with all the different styles of play that these guys produce...it's THEIR way of competing against the much more talented power house ones in Kentucky and Duke...it's their best chance to win...imagine if they all had to play the same way...you gotta love the diversity...

Other stuff...

What a nightmare day for shootings throughout the world...Tunisia...Mesa, AZ...and on and on...it's a sad commentary on the lack of meaning of life...and with random shooting...well, I don't know the solution...how can one get this act stopped?...what are coming to?...

Survivor...a 2 hour one...not sure why they went with the extended version so early in their season...but...it was still entertaining...tattoo you is gone...

Taped the Sound of Music special...will watch it tonight...and...actually bought the special Blu-ray version of the flick...somehow I never had it before...and will watch it after the special...ah, a hills are alive at the sound of music...

There's that word again...diversity...at Starbucks...what?...

Brace yourself for a Cinderella...no, not the movie...but some team that NOBODY, er very few, figured as winner...to sneak through the bracket...who's it going to be?...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
