Ground Hog Day

So this means 6 more weeks of winter?...cuz, he definitely saw his shadow yesterday...on Ground Hog Day...in fact, out at Sycuan it was 84*...and I shot that number to boot...gosh, it was nice out...anyway, the significance of the day is one of the biggest bags of baloney there is...some legend...

How are you all doing after the extreme disappointment at the conclusion of the Super Bowl?...the odious play call to lose the game...man, I was screaming at the pixels...run the ball, you foo...you have the best runner going against the worst run defense...and you pass...eegads...imagine the hysteria in Seattle...or, all the blokes who went berserk in Vegas...I thought I could hear the thunder down here...however...NE did play a solid game...and the defensive bloke who made the pick...that was a GREAT PLAY!...oh well, the league is still smelly...

Downton Abbey...now that we have the Blu ray discs for the entire season...we are blazing through it...lord, it is a wonderful show...and...since we have had the Blu ray player properly connected, the HD is tremendous...I will not ruin any of the upcoming shows for you...but it is not to disappoint...

I don't understand why there isn't a coalition of countries that don't band together to go eradicate ISIS, or whatever those heathens are called...seems like a perfect time for the United Nations to really act as one...

NBA...as the mid season slump arrives...and teams go through doldrums...it's way too long, kids...those who are rising are Atlanta, Cleveland, and Golden St...the dogs are NY Knicks, LA Lakers, and Philly...and on comes the all star game...and peops poo poo the selections...actually get upset about their blokes not making one of the squads...and then...the same guys...complain about the game itself...ha ha...it's OK, not just very real...I have never seen one of them in it's entirety...

The PGA is out at Torrey this week...and we are going on Friday...I have today to try to find discount tix...unlike the past couple of years, the weather is supposed to be grand....take that ground hog...

You Repubs...you REALLY want Jeb?...Mitt cashed out...as he was told his donors were going the Bush way this time...man, that's after he put his recently remodeled mansion in La Jolla up for sale...wonder if that will change his mind...you know, it's a nice place to live...guess he wants to move  his clan back to Utah...

And for mandatory equal time...the Demos have their pick, Hillary, solidly in the lead...really?...don't believe it...things will shake out in the next 6 months or so...

Remember when we all played scrabble?...it was a kick, right?...somebody always cheated...

The Jimmy Fallon Show...following the Super Bowl...did you catch it?...was hilarious...

Speaking of that...the best commercial?...Bud Lite dog one...easily...and the worst?...Kim K's selfie BS...there, that's a wrap...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
