Changing of the Guard

Spent quite  a bit of time discussing the state of the PGA...players, rules, and the like...and the one thing that stands out...the stars of the past are just that...past...and trying to figure out who is the king pen is way hard...at least from this country...the best are from other areas...it's probably Rory...and after that?...so many blokes are close...as the tour moves up the coast line to Pebble Beach...I know it's just me, but you can have that place and the highly renowned Bandon Dunes...too cold and windy for moi...I am of the heat...

Prez O is asking for ground troops for the middle east...hmmm...here we go again...the military is saying that's the only way to eradicate those heathens...I'm OK with this if the rest of the world joins in...knowing the "new" Congress, this should pass...and away we go...

Kentucky...this is weird to say...but they need a loss prior to the big dance...and then...they are the clear favs to win it all...they have the size, speed and depth...hard to believe they can get this done with all frosh, er mostly...talking college hoops...

Staying in college...as the Ducks signed their FB guy for $17 million, it reminded me of the inequities of sport in that venue...as the coaches get paid well...the players don't...the coaches can move on...the players can, but have to sit out a season...the coaches can start immediately...if and when the school is found to be breaking the rules...the players ( and school) are hit, the coach can merrily roll out of town...take the plight of the Hawk's Pete Carroll...as that's what he did to USC...I'm just saying...

I am not a fan of the Rockets...and especially the beard...as he gets away with so much...and if you catch him playing D, it's a mistake...maybe you can put part blame on the refs...I dunno...

Took the gang out to Sycuan for some golf...they had a blast...it was 81* and a slight wind...and the boys were gone...so we had a free run through the course...the guys were playing team play on the road...

Watched the movie "Gone Girl"...well, what the heck...if you could tell me why...I'd appreciate it...did this flick get high marks?...if so, no way...it's like when I write my blog...all over the place...geez, maybe I should like it, then...not so...

So, the Q for the day...does the go-tee stay or go?...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
