TV Season

The new year brings a new set of programs to the pixels...well, the season is new...and the programs are fresh...maybe the same ones...just new versions...eegads, am I really saying this?...in essence, the Bachelorette, American Idol, and Celebrity Apprentice...are BACK!....ha ha...there you go...

Last night was the guy pick em special...er, the Bachelor...with the chooser being a country boy from Iowa...and this time around there were 30 gals paraded around him...and the show itself, was a "live" version in front of an audience...made up of some of the alumni of year's or seasons past...oh well, familiar faces...it's kind of like a cult...these blokes and blokettes live on forever...as single...where is Vienna?...

I'm not sure how anyone can sift through 30 that quickly...and even come up with names...there are clear standouts...and the producers gave us snippets of episodes to come...you see, this is already done...and there are web net guys out there who will tell you who got the prize...relax, it's just the pixels...

The other two I mentioned, CA and AI...tape 'em and will watch soon...and if any good, will talk about 'em...stay tuned...

NBA...PDX beat the Lake Show...who, in my mind, play a whole lot better without Kobe...who was given the day off...and wasn't even with the team in the PNW...and somebody get the book out on the Atlanta Hawks...as they continue a very successful run through the west coast...beating up on the Clip Joint...the coach is a disciple of Pop at San Antonio...the very needy Cavs, did some trading to improve their lineup...got some extras from the Knicks...clue me in here, it's a total waste...and we get to see the implosion of that team...ha ha...Cleveland, that is...

The fact that there is even a blip on the screen featuring your girl Sarah, is beyond me...isn't that over?...her 15 minutes are done, done, done...

OK, get this...played out at Steele Canyon...a 27 hole setup, very close to Sycuan...83*...and the greens were said to be an 11 on the stimp meter...they was faster than that...one hole you could drop a ball and it would roll 25 feet...no kidding...anyway..the front I had a 50...the back, a 38...let's just say very kindly, that I am a real hack...

I did listen quite closely to the pundits about "the call" in the Boys/Lions game...and everyone said the same thing...it was bogus...and that's the way it is...figure there will be more come this weekend...just watch...smells to high heaven...don't ever, ever, bet on the NFL...EVER!...

The owner of the Saint Looey Rams is set to build a football stadium in LA...where the Hollywood Race Track is...thus, move the Rams there...and there are signs that if there isn't a new one built in SD, the Bolts may be moving north, too...the San Diego city council is scrambling...we'll see...
