Hmmm...it hasn't been done for a decade...repeat champ in the NFL...and the Seattle Seahawks are on the brink of doing it...not really my gig, but here goes...the Horse makes the picks for the semis...

Green Bay at Seattle...Coach PETE Carroll...there you go, Re-Pete...has a huge chance on getting to the Super Bowl...problem is...his Hawks are going against the Pack...and you don't know what the status is of the league's best QB, Aaron Rodgers...the best?...when healthy, YES!...the weather will be a factor...cold and wet...duh, it's in the PNW...thus, the ground game will be a significant factor...and Seattle wins that...the fans there are delirious...another point...still, GB has a lot of weapons...and there will be minimal scoring...that seems like I am talking out of both sides of me boca...not...as there can be a big play that can change everything...the Pack has that...low, very low, score...like 14-10...Seattle...

Indianapolis at New England...OK now...here is the game that most pundits see as the Pats in a breeze...not so fast my friends...it will be in a downpour...what?...miserable...and who wants it the most will win...geez, that sounds like a bad statement in a bad sitcom...NE is riding a two year blitz of all, in the rain...really...another fray where the run game will be critical...advantage the Pats...and the same feeling as the first game gets me...a luck bag ( Gahr quote) play could spell the doom of NE...for some reason, I see the Colts in a late score to upset the mighty Patriots...21-17...

Of course, I am terrible at predictions...especially in the NFL...hate the refs...well, that's in most all sports...don't you dare go out and bet on my pix...don't ever, EVER, bet on the NFL...

Other less pertinent things...er, maybe more...

Finally...FINALLY, we hooked up the Blu-Ray player correctly...and we actually get to see the benefits of the tool...and now we have to figure out how to change the input on the universal remote...I see that as an all day venture...

The Aztecs got the Rebels...this is a fun rivalry...hoops...as they both have strong teams...UNLV can sneak up on you...they beat Zona about a month ago...and SDSU pulled it out in the last few minutes...really strong D was the diff...

It was like 80* out at El Cajon...and the golf was supreme...the one thang that leaves you, is the touch factor...if you haven't played for awhile...I pitched like a brick layer...but hit the ball decent...there is promise on the horizon, kids...

The Clip Joint...I have different takes on this team...they did beat the Kings at Sac last eve...without their big Cousins...LA has NO BENCH!...and they picked Doc's kid as the back up PG...released the previous one...hmmm...they need to make some more changes...fast...otherwise, a 2nd level group...

Shink, the long time announcer at one of the high schools I taught and coached at, sent me a pix of myself and 3 coaches I worked for and with...never saw it before...very cool...can't believe I ever had that much hair...a Beatle cut, ha ha...
