Idol...American

It's started back up...the best of the singing ventures...I know, some of you like the Voice...with the banter of the judges...but..the talent there has always been 2nd rate...quick, name a winner...ever?...ever!...no...it's the 1st of the shows...American Idol that is the clear winner...and there were some dang good auditions last eve...

2 big standouts...one, a youngster singing a Keith Urban song...and gulp, maybe better than Keith does...and the banjo playing filly...who is a legit contender to be a top 3 placer...of course, there is a loooong way to go...and tonight...the preview is one of the judges is to be Adam Lambert...a previous non-winner...too bad, as he was clearly the best that season...who knows how the votes go...

Best of luck to the Duck's QB, Marcus Mariota...who announced yesterday that he in fact is moving on to the NFL...he should be one of the top 3 in his position to get picked...SD, start your trading engines...and get up to number 2-5...and you have a chance...everyone is saying that T Bay is going to stay in state and draft Winston...good luck on that...

The Clip Joint beat the Blazers...hmmm...kind of thought that PDX might be a bit better...not a good sign...LA has been playing just so-so...and I'm talking Los Angeles...speaking of the city's teams...big rumor that the Lake Show may shut down Kobe for the season...hmmm, they want a high draft pick next year...ha ha...makes no diff...they are going to lose with him or without...

One of the hardest places to play anything is in Wyoming...7,000 ft above sea level...really...at least the University is...and SDSU traveled there for a big show down...where the Cowboys usually prevail...almost like the OSU jinks on the Ducks...alas, the Aztecs got the W!...huge win for them...

I got to see Downton Abbey, thanks to my PVR...and it was a great episode...the entire season should arrive soon...in the mail...Amazon...have you got into this show yet?...start with season 1...you'll thank me later...

Snooki and I discussed at length the remnants of the Ducks...if Mariota bolted to the NFL...lots of holes to fill...especially at QB...and at LB...just might be a number 2 or 3 team out of the north...and...they need help at coaching the D...ok, I am redundant on that topic...bear with me...it frustrates moi...Daffy Duck...

A dilemma...some NFL teams think that firing their coaches will solve their problems....well now...with the vulnerability in the job...ah hem, the fragile state of retaining it, unless you win or tie...many guys just don't want 'em...so the teams are left high and dry...and hire retreads...hmmm...well, just look at the Buffalo Bills...
