Taking the City by Storm

The lurve the Brits and the US have for the Royal Fam is beyond belief...and it's going on in the City...apparently, the first time for their jaunt there...and the paparazzi are having a field day...or should that be is?...as the Prince and the Duchess cavort about...last night it was to see our King...er, LeBron James...in action against the lowly Nets...and of course, there to meet, greet, and sit with them, was another form of US royalty, Jay Z and Beyonce....ah, can't we all just get together?...apparently so...I'll turn on GMA in a bit, and I'm sure this is the headline...

Somehow, I got the missus to watch the Clips game with me last eve...it was exciting enough for her...and the refs were abysmal...two of them were rookies and young...and way over their silly ass heads....wait, that doesn't make total sense...you DO know what I mean...they must have reviewed 10 things in the last 7 minutes of playing time...cuz they blew the calls...anyway, the game went to OT...against the Suns...and of all peops, Blake Griffin, hit a 3 to win it...very fun game in a way...by the way, 3 of his game high 45!...

We went round and round yesterday about going to the Rose Bowl...and after all that, decided not to...too many complicated things to tell you about...it just wouldn't fit perfectly in our time slot...so to the pixels we will go to see it...GO DUCKS!...

The finalists were announced yesterday for the best football player in the land...the Heisman...included in the 3...was none other than the UO QB, Marcus Mariota...to me, a cinch for the winner...but...he's from the west and you know how the east coast pundits hate the westerners...ha ha...that sounded real weird...

Gas prices under $3....unemployment rates at an all time low...troops coming out of Afghanistan...stock market at record highs...and we want a change?...hmmm...are we listening to the Koch Bros too much?...

Fantasy Football news...after a bye in the playoffs, I get back into action...and of all things, my 3 main guys are playing the Bolts...in SD...talk about mixed emotions...

With all the hullabaloo about the changes coming to the Pads...I have yet to see any movement...there are meetings going on right now with all of MLB...I think here in SD...and there should be some done...we should be getting some new blokes...look to see our C Grandal exit...

Going to Cedros St today...unique shopping...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
