Soon to be Seen

Yes, it's true...I'm not too keen on the trash that has hit the pixels...but there are some that tickle me in a good way...and are about to be unleashed...one is our fav, Downton Abbey...if you haven't seen it yet...go back and start from the beginning...airs on PBS on Jan 4...

The setting is in England...in the late teens and twenties of the past century...the cast of characters and the writing is absolutely splendid...the entire new season will be sent to me about mid Jan...from Amazon...

My other treasure is House of Cards...Kevin Spacey as Prez...from Netflix...and begins soon...I'm not sure of the date...and it is also one, that you must start from the beginning...if you are not a regular follower...you'll thank me later, I promise...

Whenever you have the inmates run the asylum, you have chaos...such is the case for the NBA's Cleveland Cavs...sure, you know, King James' team...as he is underperforming...and they brought in some average Joes to fill out the roster...and expect miracles...flat out, they are average...yet, the players think otherwise...and the hot rumor is that the new coach is about to walk the plank...good for him in a way...get the H out of that situation...let them find their new warden...

Slap me if I'm wrong...but the latest tidbit out of KK's boca...she doesn't like to smile as it produces wrinkles...what?...if need be, get back to the doc and get 'em straightened, er removed...right, or am I right?...

In this day and age of supporting a coach, win or tie...how does the Stoops guy keep his job at Oklahoma?...has he ever won a big game?...the alumni have to be itching, and not in a good way...

We played Salt Creek yesterday...one of the more demanding tracks around here...sort of like a desert course...get offline, and you are in brush and unplayable...and apparently, the budget doesn't include much water...the greens were hard...OK, it was still fun...and that's why we play, correct?...

By the way, the course was in Chula Vista...which could pass for any town USA...thousands of families...cool schools...a college, too...every where you look, mini-vans...and the usual stable of BMW's...and you could AFFORD to live there...

I fear that the remains of the Asian jet have been found...and it was a crash victim, for sure...why is it that that area is so vulnerable?...

The Bolts...well...the O line was decimated by injuries...and it showed for sure in their loss at KC...not a fan of the head coach...McCoy...too arrogant for this Horse...and their pick in the draft is like 17...need lineman...badly...geez, that sounded so cryptic...

Get this...the snow level is at 2500 feet...in SD!...that means in the mts just a 45 minute drive...will have like a lot...4-6 inches, so the weatherman says...might even get over to Vegas...yes, I have the heat on...this is THE exception...

Don't get me wrong...but the announcement of the young gal in the Little League, Mo'ne...as the female athlete of the year...is a slap in the face of all women athletes in this country...

As I have been speculating for over a month, recently departed 49er HC, Jim Harbaugh...is going to be the coach at Michigan...worst kept secret in a long time...should help out that U a bunch...

My older bro and his fam are here for this day...going out to play at Riverwalk...geez, I'm like a traveling vagabond in the golfing world...and then meeting up with yet another oldest bro for din din...mini fam gathering...

Will USD ever be on the same level as conference perennial champ Gonzaga?...according to some grads, no!...not until they make some coaching changes...I dunno...I think it's hard to recruit there...hard for some blokes to get in...something about GPA...ha ha...

Johnny Football's days at the Browns just may be dwindling...he's more of a problem than a plus...and now the peops are getting the REAL picture....

Did you watch the Arkansas/Texas bowl game?...how much time can you spend on defending the coach of the Longhorns?...I mean, c'mon...it was ridiculous...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
