Money Talks

Usually...as the big movers and shakers in the MLB off season have been those with $...and are willing to spend it...the Red Sox...and the CUBBIES!...always a door mat, they are looking for immediate change in their team...so, Chi-Town, maybe it's your turn for some dominance...all this is happening down here in SD...them beisbol boys are all over the GQ...

So how about the Pads?...with their new ownership, they have made loads of promises...and thus far?...nuttin honey...the big rumor is that the acquisition of Matt Kemp is imminent...and I'm hearing more now, that that is a pipe dream...look, we are not far away from being a contender...really...but have to make some moves to get over the hump...fingers are crossed...

It is announced that the Browns are finally giving Johnny Football his chance...and have named him their starting QB for this Sunday's game...it's taken 3 months to do this...and I for one, hope that he gets his do...will I be watching?...hope it's on in our area...so, yes...

One of the big controversies here in SD...is that the opponents who travel well, really want to come to SD to see their team play...and will pay big $ to do so...and thus, they have a presence in the SD parks...which ticks off the local coaches...New England did, and it sounded like a near 50-50 crowd...expect the Broncos to be worse...as Denver invades the GQ this weekend...

PDX continues it's climb...as the Blazers beat the Pistons on the road...hmmm...probably one of the surprises in the league...how poorly that Detroit is playing...and losing...they have decent talent...and Van Gundy just can't get 'em going...it's a long season, and they should be much better later on...

The pix I posted yesterday about the Royal Family peops and our King James has caused a stir...as protocol was lambasted, as LeBron had his arm around the Duchess...a no no...ha ha...hey, he's a King!...

I know I may be in the minority here...as I usually am...but I don't get the big deal in Kate Upton...other than the obvious...I don't get it...

A very cool place to Xmas shop is where we went yesterday in Solana Beach...Cedros St...very cool...and just a couple of blocks away from the Delmar RT...I would live there...in fact, when M retires...we will look in that area...really...but that's a bit off...

This is a links day...have to get ready for a T this Saturday...back to my old putter (exit the Nike), and hope to see a few more drop on a regular basis...

Only 15 days left for Christmas, and my stocking has NOTHING in it...not that I am checking or anything like that...

And if you haven't yet...you need to purchase the Carrie Underwood Greatest Hits CD...just out...somebody would want that in his stocking...
