Merry Padres

Take this name...AJ Preller...and keep it in your Santa suit...as the new GM of the Padres, he has made sweeping changes to this listless ball club...and the results are...FANtastic!...we are in shock!...working on a totally new OF...new C, and...new SS...and the hits keep right on a coming...albeit at a price...giving some quality maybes...which are usually just that...for some quality right now blokes...am I excited?...you bet I am...off to spring training I will go...it's true...wanna go with me?...

Let's open our presents...the biggest of them all?...we just finalized the Matt Kemp deal...the best hitter we will have here since Tony Gwynn...really...with power...and in CF is former ROY, Will Myers...and all the news sources say it is the Brave's Upton in the fold today...and in our RF...oh my...and we picked up All-Star C Norris from the A's...who can also play 1B...signed SS Barmes...the pitching added flamer Morrow, resigned Josh Johnson...and the rest is intact...this, kids, is a really GOOD THING!...

Watched the Golden St/OKC (Supersonics) game last eve...well, the last half...both of these teams are so fun to watch...get up and down the hardwood with the best of the league...the Thunder lost the superstar PF Durant to an ankle...hope it's minor...oh, by the way, the Warriors got the W...I didn't know that the team is moving to San Francisco...leaving Alameda...hmmm...hard to get to the City...wonder how that's going to work...

Survivor...Tweenie won!...didn't see that coming...as the ladies took over the game...totally unsupervised...and see what happens?...just joking, you militant ladies...congrats to her...I thought the tall gal so should have been the champ...forget her looks...

We went out to celebrate M's sale...shhh, don't tell anyone...and had the hottest, er spiciest, flat bread pizza ever...should have known, it was called the popper...at Barley...great place to people watch and get half price everything at happy hour...

Got the Meghan Trainor tix...over at the House of Blues...it's where we saw the Zombies...there are but a few balcony seats...lucked out and got a pair...if you are interested, it's on Feb 18...and keep checking Stub Hub for seats...you have to look almost daily...

The stock market is going bonkers!...what?...I have no clue why...and by the way, I paid $2.65 for a gallon of premium gas yesterday...what?...when's the last time the price was that?...

Now that I am eliminated from the FF playoffs, I really don't care...pooh on me...I really doubt that the Bolts beat the 49ers...need a makeover at QB...Mariota on the horizon somehow?...it would be way cool...

This just in...the Pads are getting 3B Middlebrooks for newly acquired C Hanigan...the hits just keep on a coming...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
