CUBA!

And there is backlash to easing the tension between tiny little Cuba and the US of A...what?...Prez O worked his management skills on the other Castro...and there is progress...relations are finally working the right way...ah hem...but there are those out there...that want to KEEP THE BAN!...and it's not just the RePubs...I don't get it...seems to me, any break in a 60 year feud is a good thing...and for goodness sakes, then we can legally purchase some of them fine Cuban cigars...right?...remember the olden days, when the state of Oregon banned the sale of Coors beer?...oh my, not that it's the same thing...and lordy, the island would lurve to have some new cars to drive around...how long can you keep the 60's Chevys a running?...

The Pads have made some great moves in the off season...yesterday picking up OF Myers and C Hanigan...who both will start next season...and there is a snag in the Matt Kemp deal...as we all collectively hold our breaths on this one...he is the KEY to the season...should know more today...

NBA...I think you have to keep the Clip Joint in the mix...they have improved...and continue to pass the ball better...geez, that's more like 10 teams in the west that COULD peak at the right time...the east is abysmal...

The Bolts have a faint hope that they could make the playoffs...but...their QB Rivers hasn't practiced all week...don't see how that works...plans on playing Sunday versus the 49ers...and SD just isn't that good...

Most, or like many, college football coaches are in their own little world...ah hem, high school, too...spit out spiritual sayings like they are direct disciples...and get paid a worldly sum of $...and if you cross them  you will pay the price...take the recently fired guy from Nebraska...Bo Pelini...attacked his former AD...by words...and left a trail of tears...no problem, they have Mike Riley to come in and right the ship...can you say Noah?...just kidding...well, not really...
