Doesn't happen very often right?...the way they numerals match up...ha ha...and the unusual happened last night in the W by the Lake Show over Pop's Spurs...LA blew a huge lead in the last minute...Pop went off on his inbounder...and the game went OT...and the most unlikely of all shots fell...by Swaggy P...a desperation 3 ball...and the Purple Gang were all giddy...and...Pop has gone over the limit of being a class coach...his statement to the "sideline reporter" was crude and uncalled for..."give me a break!"...

Not so much with the Clip Joint, the Blazers, and the Cavs...all victims of 2nd team doldrums...so says me...and off we go...all losers last night...and the long season takes hold...games that maybe should have been won...later on...

Tonight is the announcement of the Heisman Award...given to the best player in college football...it's probably a lock for Oregon's own QB, Marcus Mariota...pretty much hate these voting thingers...and you know how the east coast is biased...easterly...not this time...the last winner from the state of Oregon?...a Beav...none other than Terry Baker...way back in my era of college...or before...

The stock market...in a correction mode?...as it pummeled the past two days...eegads, if you can figure it out, let me know...

At least the price of gas is dipping below $2 a gallon...and if you can figure THAT out, let me know...

Off to the links to play in a T...8 am shotgun...takes me 30 minutes to get there...load up my clubs on my push cart...putt a bit...and then "bam"...I'm out there...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
