Just got back from the links...eegads, this boy is on the downslide for sure...my driving is awful...tinkering with my swing...and it's a no go...pooh...

D-1 Football...the Mississippi loss to LSU threw more wrenches in the entire system...which by the way, the 1st official final 4 list is out tomorrow...something tells me that this is going to be a mess...just a hunch...

The Ducks moved up to 5th in the AP Poll...which is a good thing...and the huge game versus Stanford is as big as it gets...the Cardinal had no problem with the Beavs...hmmm...I still don't know how Riley keeps his job...

MSU, Alabama, and FSU rule the roost...more negative crap out of the Seminoles...geez, I hate saying that...with their star RB accused of abuse...and the list is growing...hmmm...

In my FF league, it is of great importance that my D plays well...Dallas...if so, I should get win number 6...

Isn't the World Series a beaut?...SF up 3-2 and they travel to KC for the final set...but...nobody is watching...all time lows...hmmm...for the country, it needs LA and NY...too bad...

NBA starts up this week...my pix early on are San Antonio (duh), Chicago, and ???...PDX maybe...if they can figure out a way to play D...and I'm not sold on Cleve...James and Love are strong...I'm not a believer in their PG...the Clips?...lots of doubts...

DWTS tonight...a Halloween feature...which should be entertaining...the problem?...who are these stars?...other than Cheryl, Derek, and the other dancers...I don't know the wannabes....

I can't believe that I am missing the Breeders Cup...next year...and for sure in '17 when it's at Del Mar...thus, I am doing no studying for it...

My blog yesterday was the most read I've had in the last 6 months...hmmm...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
