The night belongs to Peyton Manning...as he surpassed Brett Favre...for the most TD passes thrown...and some...as the Broncos continue on to their destiny...I see them as this season's fav for the champ...not only is the brightest of all the QBs...but has the quick release that is so important...and 4, yes, 4 good wides....and now they are using the tiny RB from SDSU...a growing trend in the league...couple that with a much improved D...there you go...

One interesting fact is that the KC Coach Reid, has an incredible record coming off of bye weeks...it's 14-2...the victim this time around?...yup, the Bolts...it was a close game...the diff was a last minute FG...BUT...showed the problem that we have down here in SD...not a very good D...we were there...but our tackling was awful...don't blame the coaches on this one...and a mighty mysterious penalty called for a facemask...the replay was brief...and def inconclusive...and was deep in KC's territory on a long 3rd down...what am I saying?...never, ever bet on the NFL...

With the advent of all these spread offenses in the game now...one play is apparently harder to control....er, officiate...the pick play....Lebanon used it all the time down in their town, which was never called...I digress...where one or two wides bump off a defender, to clear up a receiver for any easy completion...jeez, I even saw a wide use an umpire for the same...in fact, it was the 1st TD by the Broncos last eve...ND used one in the FSU loss...by the way, there is no worse coach in the land than the bloke from there...you KNOW who I'm talking about...

Jax won a game...hip hip...against the Browns...and the rumble down under will be for the backup QB in Cleveland...Johnny Who?...ha ha...put him out there...and let the tiny little overblown hyped up hack take his lumps...ha ha...

The Ducks have risen to 7th...OK...and travel to Berkeley to play them Bears...it's near impossible to figure this Cali team out...one thing is for sure, we have to play better D...er, be coached up better...which apparently is my theme for the week....

Finally in FB...quietly a squad that is playing really, really well....that NOBODY is talking about....the Colts...watch out kids...

I have found that the World Series starts Tuesday...in KC...what's the weather?...good lord, the end of October and we are JUST starting?...pooh...turrible planning, says me...oh yea, and I like the Giants in 6....and I am seldom right on these...don't wager...

Speaking of that sort of thing...the Breeder's Cup is in a couple of weeks at Santa Anita...which I will miss cuz I'll be at the Duck game...the best horses (healthy ones) in the world compete...it's really fun and ANY one of them can win ANY race...really...

I do believe that my fantasy football team is now in 1st place...sole 1st...hmmm...great coaching...
