Dancing With The Stars

Hmmmm, I guess we can't all be good dancers...remember when this pair got the boot...like real early...anyway, the lot of "stars" is down...but it's still good entertainment....right?...and the lack of actually telling us how many votes are really cast is still a confusing part of the show...on tonight...

The Beach Boys were damn good...sounded strong...with all of the songs rocking as ever...the high falsetto stuff is done by a real gem, the bloke who has been doing it for like at least 5 years...Jeffrey Foskett...and, of course, Mike Love is Mike Love...some nice additions....original BB, David Marks...and on drums, and some vocals, one of the Cowsills...really...the only weird thing...some fool in front of me was almost in a brawl...mouthing off and deserved a pop or two...

NFL...huge day for my FF team...thank goodness for the 3 wides I have from the Broncos...they scored big...BIG!...

Talk about a fall...the Ducks dropped from 2 to out of the top 10 in the AP poll...wow...it is gut check time...as they travel this way to take on the Bruins this week...if a W, back in the hunt...a L, and bye bye...

I guess you can't be a champ...as the Tigers got swept...and so did the Angels...hmmm...now if we can just get the Bums to get beat...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
