Well, ya'll...you come back and see us real soon, now...oops...maybe not Alabama and Texas A & M 's creed...as the most bizarre of all collegiate football weekends happened...where there were so many upsets, it was downright unsettling...did you watch any of ESPN's Game Day?...it was at Ole Miss...and it was CRAZY...the guest picker was Katy Perry...who is she?

Mississippi and Miss St had huge wins....and gave us all a real look at parity throughout the land in D-1 pigskin play...maybe just as significant...was the entire state of Arizona...who were ON THE ROAD...and knocked off the Duckees and on, ah hem, a hail mary, beat USC...one, which I turned off, thinking it was over...

I'm not through...Oky got beat by...wait for it...TCU...what?...that's numbers 2, 3, and 4...right?...hold on...as the darlin of the scribes down here in SoCal...UCLA...they didn't did they?...yup, got knocked off by...Utah...

So who emerges?...too early to say...as there are many left to go...and this Pac 12...???...every week will be a beaut....

Beisbol...it took 18 innings of great pitching, or, bad hitting...or...a combo...by the way, it seems like Pad's ball...for the Giants to beat the Nats...and the Bums...got an 8th inning dinger by Kemp...and got game #2 versus Saint Looey...geez, I hate LA...

I finally hit the bed...when WSU and Call me were going at it...it was like 95-94...something like that...and just read that the Golden Bears won by a point...hmmm...

Stanford lost at Notre Dame...again...in the driving rain...and oh by the way, if there is a bigger jerk in the game than the head coach for the Irish, well, there isn't...he yells at all his blokes...once in a while, you foo, not all the time...

SDSU got beat by Fresno...ho hum...not a fan...as you know...

It was 102 degrees in El Cajon, as I was golfing in the heat...and teed off at 7:20...the course was packed...had a 88 and was generally pleased...well, I won the $...

NFL...really?...more football?...the buzz around here...the Bolts host the Jets...this is crazy Charger country...you see more Bolts on cars and businesses than in Orygun, where they have the Ducks and Beavs all over...not even close...BIG GAME!...

Voting soon for a bloke here for Congress...one is a Tea Party...and the other is the pick...ha ha...

Tonight...we have...THE BEACH BOYS!...out at Humphreys...
It is always the most fun of all concerts...just non-stop sing alongs...and you know them all...FUN, FUN, FUN...

AND...the imminent doom of the once mighty Wolverines of Michigan...will lead to the dismissal of their coach...Brady Hoke...as they lost yet again...this time to, get this, Rutgers....Hoke is not a popular guy here, also...as he used his hire at SDSU as a springboard to get the Mich job...he was here one season...yup, one...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
