The Race Is On

The colleges got at it last night...and fuggit about Johnny Football....Texas A&M has a new gunslinger...as they took it to the highly favored South Carolina Gamecocks...nice name, huh...who are coached by the legend, Steve Spurrier...the Aggies were in the 50's, and could have put up 60+...but were nice and enough is enough...

And a very average Rutgers team, which has switched leagues to the Big 10 (really?), found a way to beat the defenseless Cougs of WSU...credit them with a decent spread O...which may score a lot of points...BUT...they NEVER run the ball...and the QB folds like a tinker toy...not a good scenario in the long run...I am going to hear grumblings in the Palouse soon...ha ha...and why did they play the game in Seattle?...good for the Jerseyites, but no so for the WSU faithful...I guess...

The Bolts won their last pre-season game versus the Cards...4 fg's to their 3 fg's....eegads, imagine sitting thru that one...and...the afore mentioned Johnny Football had a decent outing in the Brown's last one, too...although he threw the ball poorly, he ran it fine...whatever...

How many teams are in the Big 10 now?...has to be a gaggle...

There will be loads of the LA fans roaming around the GQ...and most of them are the locals, who just lurve them Bums...as they play here for a 3 spot against the Pads...they dominate us...and I don't see any change in it....sorry SD fans, but it's true...maybe someday...

I see peops from the Great PNW post on Facebook about the state fair there...sad to think that they don't have the horse races anymore...it was the glue for fellers like me...the highlight?...a Bob's cheeseburger...ha ha...what about the Scone?...now, THAT'S a score...

Isn't Facebook cool?...you can stay connected with people and places that you always wonder about...and it is instant...so when you have a reunion of sorts, you already have a clue to what's been going on...so, it's not a shock...
