Pessimism

The one time that you can make your team better...is the MLB Draft...and IF...you do not spend a whole lot of $ on your picks...you just may shy away from selecting the best guys available...hmmm...the Pads have had a sad set of years in the draft...according to the Trib Beat writer, Nick Canepa, who has been here forever...SD has been pathetic...and this time...need to select only position players...like everyone BUT a pitcher...ha ha...

It's a grand time for a kid to get the phone call to further his dreams in the game...and...you might think...the quicker he can get to the Bigs, the better...and therefore...the Padres would be a perfect fit...this is what you need to say, if you are a bloke from the organization...right?...it begins tomorrow...I am...pessimistic...

The team took it on the chin yet again, last eve...scoring but 1 run in their 4-1 loss...and, unfortunately, are on a nose dive...something good has to happen...soon...or, well, you know...

NBA...also starts tomorrow...as the Spurs are favored...what?...albeit a slight one...but still...it's not what I think...yet...SA has the home court advantage...and that has to be the difference...

The Belmont Stakes...the 1 1/2 mile test for the best 3 year old horses...and of course, all the racing world's eyes are on California Chrome...can he get it done?...I'll bet it that way...but have some doubts...as the come from behind hosses are real possibles...and the weather...wet?...sloppy or muddy track...this is a major factor...

John Daly has stated that he lost like $55 million from '91 to '07...who has that type of $ to lose?...and what?...he must be the worst gambler ever...

The 5-1 trade...you following this?...there has to be more to the story...as it is not a pretty one...something doesn't seem right...and the word is that his fellow soldiers said he deserted...then...does that mean he would be subject to military discipline?...like military prison?...so much more to come...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
