This is what Tony Parker would be saying about his team right now...THE BEST!...not only in the regular season, but the playoffs, too...as they totally destroyed the defenseless Heat...it would not have been even close...at the beginning as Miami ran up a 14 point lead...BUT...if you looked closely, SA had uncontested shots, that they missed...and it was just a matter of time...

And the rout was on...the highlight for me was that the SDSU product, Kawhi Leonard, was named the MVP!...he was splendid...harassing LeBron, and also took on the role as supreme scorer, too...deserved the accolades...amazing that the ancient C, Timmy Duncan, played as well as he did, er does...and the lefty craftsman, Ginobli!, carved up the Heat...

In the end, it was the system created by Coach Pop...the TEAM...that was the difference...in this day and age of pick and roll...and that's all you do...they still use five guys and their bench...sports are fickle people...(is?)...now, the rest of the teams will bring the motion back into what they do...

Der beste...would be what the German, Martin Kaymer, was to the rest of the blokes in the US Open...not even close...as he strolled through the Father's Day afternoon...on a merry little walk...and did earn the Parent's Sweep...won on both Mother's and Father's Days...by 8 or so strokes...and...ah hem...gave me 3 of 4 pools wins that I have entered...and well, I may get booted out of...Kaymer is back on his game...obviously...just doesn't rattle...a few years ago, he was number one in the World...people forget this...not me...

There were some nice story lines...the one on Eric Compton, he who survived two heart transplants and finished tied for 2nd with...Rickey Fowler...who is impressing me more and more...and just might make my next list...which, as you know, is quite an honor...and don't ever listen to the drivel that Lefty throws out...he is a great speaker...but is no longer a backer of what he says...so says me...

I have a solution for Iraq...just split the country into two factions, er 2 new countries...call them something else...like North Iraq and South Iraq...and let both religious sects live peacefully...someone tell Prez O this...

 The Badres take their side show to Seattle today...fresh from another loss to the Mets...as the base running blunders led them to an abysmal 3-1 shellacking...a change is soooooo needed....and get this...the Bads are favored....what?...you have GOT to be kidding...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
