So, you're thinking of moving where it's like...better than where you are now...and you say, enough is enough...so where do you go?...the masses are going to...TEXAS...it's big...it's way affordable...and you can get new housing...and the weather ain't bad...BUT...the number one place in the US of A?...the Villages in Florida...where it has increased in population almost 15% in the last 3 years...and the avg income is $35 grand...so, pack up your golf cart (so miss mine) and all your belongings and get down to Gator land, kids...

Finally the fires are getting surrounded...partly due to the massive attack by air and ground by the fire fighters, and partly due to mother nature, turning off the heat and winds...and...in the affected area, an arrest of two who just may have set the fires...thus far, there is one death, which changes the charges against the villains...

As expected, the owner of the Clips, Donald Sterling, is battling all the charges against him...ie, the NBA fine...and is going to sue the league...he is NOT going to go quietly...the team?...it is...as they lost their battle to OKC and are out...kind of a mess...the oft mentioned best PG in it, CPIII...is not...as he is one of them blokes that has a bigger rep than reality...

Idol is down to the real top 2 of the lackluster group that they had...and the rocker will win...wait, I never ever get this right...except for Kelly and Carrie...so, I guess I sometimes do...

Massive hit on the stock market yesterday...what?...you have a clue...somebody must...I have none...

The Pads won their series in Cincy...and got some decent hitting in the tin box there...and off they go to Colorado...where their team is bopping everyone...we start with Stults...who will get hit hard...so we must do the same...hmmm...fingers crossed...btw, we gave up on big Kyle Blanks...oft injured and under productive...traded him to Oakland ( a place we are now looking to a lot) for a minor league OF...hmmm...and some cash considerations...what is that?...either it's money or not....right?...shhh, don't talk about this...but outside of a 2 homer day, 2B Gyorko, is hitting under .150....yesterday he was 0 fer 7...shhh...don't anyone talk about this...let's keep it under wraps...we just gave him $35 million to keep him in SD...shhhh...

Is there not a better topic than Beyonce's sister and her fight with JZ?...I mean a major segment by the Today Show?...what have we got to?...who the H cares?...we CARE about the K fam...and what THEY are showing...I mean, it's almost better than Playboy...right?...now THIS is news...or the latest charges on the Canadian visitor, the Biebs...yes, this is going somewhere...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
