The efforts of the last two Bum's pitchers, Beckett and Ryu, was anything but remarkable...as they approached a feat that no one else had ever done...threw back to back no hitters in MLB...and the 2nd, was even perfect through 7...got tired and poof!...it was done...and...these aren't even their top two in their rotation...just to tell you how deep this team actually is...

2 of the guys that we traded away in the last few weeks, had big days for their new teams...Blanks had a dinger for the A's...and Hundley had the go ahead rbi in OT for the O's...good for them...as they were decent blokes, riding the pine here...

The Heat just toyed with the Pacers in their game number 4...and are up 3-1...Indy complained about the refs...ha ha...in the NBA?...naw...come on...hey, I say there are shenanigans always going on a bit...there is a lot of $ bet on these...

Pomona Pitzer's own former QB Hochuli...yup, that one...the son, not the daddy...has been one of the white hats in the Pac 12...just got hired in the NFL...now, this was a fast track to the bigs...hmmm...mid 30's...

Big article in the Trib today about the lack of hitting by the Padres...since moving into the present digs at the GQ, there has been 9 hitting coaches...all fired and have moved on...and some to be the coach of WS champs...ha ha...1st of all, there is a severe lack of talent...especially now...the team has NOT drafted hitters...for the last 11 years...ah hem...and 2ndly, when they built this track, it was for pitching...too bad...as the common peops want what the Red Sox have...runs and fun...3rd, the management is not too keen on playing small ball...what?...it's what you have to do...all in all, a disappointment...

Our bed arrives today...so I take down the other and wait for pickup...this is a big thing for this boy...such a "handyman"...originally by Del Shannon, and then covered by James Taylor...

 It's Tuesday, yet seems like Monday...and I am but just a few days away from my Vegas golf excursion...gots to get out and practice some...

I believe Handyman was originally done by Jimmy Jones and I believe his version is the best.

Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
