Peace

I can't tell you how much I lurved that time of my life...and yet, it was full of turmoil...as the Vietnam War was raging...we were so horribly managed...and the youth (us) fought back in way different forms...and we united in our music...it was the time that people would ask why...rather than just do what was spoon fed to us...things seemed so wrong...and the conservatives of this nation were dwindling...in fact, there was a huge amount of people that turned against most of the judgments of the government...and then along came Watergate...which substantiated our feeling...yes, Dude, it was a change...PEACE...

The Smother's Bros were the undeniable idols of that time for us...as they said and did what we thought...and were constantly being censored...as the TV brass and the Gov't were interlocked...it was a revolutionary time for sure...I would NOT miss the show...and I still laugh when I think about the Pat Paulson for Prez campaign...

The music...CSNY, the Mamas and Papas, the Lovin Spoonful, the Doors, the Stones, the Beatles (yes), Strawberry Alarm Clock, Grace Slick and the Jefferson Airplane, and on and on...gave us a different sound that we thrived on...and I still get high on the songs of that era...

OK, the here and now...

The NY Racing Board rescinded the ban on the horse nasal strips...must have read my blog...ha ha...and Chrome marches on...

The aftermath and ridicule of the Jenner kid's botched lines in the Music Awards Show...get these people OFF the air...what have they done to get these gigs?...so many (almost everyone) people more deserving...

DWTS...without a tally to us, the final 3 includes one that should never be there...and the guy, who got the axe, should be in the finals...PUBLISH the vote!....it's a joke...the winner?...don't know how you can pick one over the other...as the gal with no legs is in a different world than the olympics one...both are far superior to the 3rd finalist...who should have been eliminated a few weeks back....Derek usually wins...so...

Played Balboa GC yesterday...and lordy...carried my bags...what?...forgot how hilly this track was...and was huffing and puffing...and talked the pair we were playing with a ride on their cart...whew...and get this...one of the blokes (the pop) asked my age...I laughed as I said it...and then he asked the month...then the day...we were the exact same age!...what's the odds in that ?...he was playing with his son...which I miss dearly and was very jealous...time will heal the good Dr. and we will, too...

We are settled in on the Sleep Number Bed...it's now down to when we pull the plug and order it...wait 'til Xmas...or now!...I think you know where we are headed...

The Pads...great news on our ace, Andy Cashner...as he will not need Tommy John...just rest...this is a very good thing...Minnesota Twins are in town...just may get out one of these nights...

The Spurs ripped the Thunder...as expected...and can the Pacers do another on the Heat?...

You watch the Bachelorette?...Ms. Dorfman is a beaut...smart and quick as a whip (?)...crazy terminology...and this ride will be fun...

A day of rest and relaxation...

Buy now! Best bed ever. I love ours and would never change. The only problem is that I can't get a good sleep in other beds.

Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
