Honor

Memorial Day...where we honor those who have given their lives for our country...it's a very somber time...when a patriot is brought home in a coffin...as they have fought for the rights of what they enlisted for...there is no debate about what they have done...the debate has to do with whomever sent them there in the 1st place...

The tele was flashing the numbers of Americans that have lost their lives in the big wars of this relatively new society...the greatest amount?...the Civil War, followed by the 2nd World War...

It's not the time to question the strategies and diplomacies of this nation...not now...but to honor those who bravely followed their orders...and gave their life in doing so...

And then on to my most mundane stuff...

Golfing things...as over the pond in England...the once mighty proud Rory McIIroy, fresh from an engagement break up...as he announced it prior to teeing off on Thursday...came from 7 shots back and won the T....his 1st since 2012...Jessica Korda won the LPGA event in 'Bama...watch out for her...could he the next BIG thing in the ladies...and out of the mass of possibles, came the duo of Adam Scott and Jason Duffner....in the PGA in Texas...OT, and the Aussie got it...

Beisbol...of course, the bigger news is that the Pads won and split with the awful Cubbies...we have to find a way to get Carlos Q in the lineup every day....can he play 1st?...but the biggest news is that the Bum's P Beckett threw a no hitter on the Phils...

Great article in the NY Times on Coach Pop...his roots of coaching back at Pomona Pitzer...I remember talking to Cris's baseball coach...telling him he had such a great deal there...no pressure...and he could pretty much do whatever he wanted...and did...and no one would complain...ha ha...try that in the high school system, bub...I digress...the article reminded me of that...most of the blokes who coach in that D111 league are still there...SCIAC...look it up...oh yea, the Thunder won at home over Pop's Spurs...now 2-1 for SA...

If you can judge a bloke by pitching to one batter...the trade we made to Balt using Hundley...was questionable...as the lefty looked like any other average chucker...and walked his only guy...well now...that's not fair...let's give him some more chances...the jury is out...

The GQ was rocking last eve...when I took Sam out around 10ish, there was noise everywhere...lots of peops inhabiting this area...for the extended weekend...could be a lot of the military peops blowing off steam...and unwinding...

I have to talk about this...the KK wedding...again and again and again...the bro departed prior to it...as the rumor was...KK was upset with his weight gain and would ruin the pix...oh my...there is nothing that could ruin that unique experience...nothing...rumor has it he has promised to NOT miss the next one...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
