Ah yea, the best day of the week...as the first one of the holiday...wait, I know...I'm always on a vacay...sorry kids, but it's true...FRIDAY!!!

This just out...and it's not so good...as San Diego is the 2nd least affordable big city to purchase a home...in all of the US...ie, NYC...hmmm...only SF is worse...as I have told everyone...it's the original investment...then it's just fine...everything else is the same...that's why there is such a great rental market...the climate is incredible...and thus you have it...location location location...

China has a way to suppress all of their inner turmoil....wait, not any more...as they have terrorists, too...witness the mass killings in the last few days...

There is an article in the Trib about the impending doom of the Padre skipper...as much as he's liked...the team needs a facelift...and you can't move all of the underproducing players they trot out there...so the Manager is the one that usually gets the boot...we have a new ownership...they have to be wondering what they bought...a lemon?...they won't stand for that...expect some type of shake up soon...

Oh yea, the Pads stunk it up last eve...again...got drilled by the lowly Cubbies...5-1...making it even worse...our trade, Anthony Rizzo, clobbered a monster HR...and we never recovered...take a look at our lineup...we have like 5 blokes hitting under .200...way under...if it weren't for Seth Smith, we would NEVER score...well...

Looked all over the tube for a hoop game...none...dang, stuck with the Pads and utter frustration...and then we watched the tapes of Idol and Survivor...the right blokes won...

Off to breakfast...yes!

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
