Cruiser

You one of them blokes, or blokettes, that have been a cruiser?...you know, the cats who take a week or so, and travel the great seas on the many Cruise Ships that are out there...we are one of the stopping ports for a bunch of 'em...and we have yet done so...got the itch...one of the problems, is the chaos in Mexico...which has been rumored to have quelled down a bit...this is a pix in our harbor and the building in the background, the tallest one...well, that's where we live...kind of a cool image...

Idol...the right one won...as the rocker got the trophy...and if you listened to the rest of the finalists...you know what I have been saying all along...they were and are very marginal...well, even worse than that...the 2nd place finisher?...she has some bright spots, especially when sitting at the piano...

Survivor...Woo, what were you thinking?...you gave away a million bucks...are you kidding me?...there is NO HONOR in that cheating game...as he chose the cop over the lawyer to sit by him in the finals...and it was thus a slam dunk...

Speaking of that, the Spurs did a major number on the Thunder (Soopersonics) by a gazillion...the beauty of Coach Pop, is that he nurtures a team of 10 throughout the season, and his top guys are fresh...and the other ones, are used to playing...a lot...up 2-0...and, they all play team ball and proper D...are you listening Portland?...

Woeful effort by the Pads last night...at home versus the grateful Twins...got shutout and lost 2-0...had their chances, but the lineup is in such disarray, it's near impossible to string together hits...and, I can't recall a player in the lineup this long (mid May), hitting .150, batting 4th, 5th, or 6th...and an extreme liability in the field, too...2B Gyorko...when is this experiment going to end?...I often wonder when the BRAIN TRUST sits down and talk, what they are actually saying to one another...

We have made a purchase for our bed search...it's a Stearns Foster...and an adjustable bed, to boot...the mattress was and is great and very comfy...we went against the air bed...too many worries about it...as we already had a firm and a soft type of mattress at the same time...which turned out bad...so we compromised and got the king and it's not split...thanks for the replies kids...

You an Ebay bloke?...serious breach in security...so get in there and change up your stuff...you know, the name and password...I did...this service is worldwide...so this is one of the scares that I respect and will adjust accordingly...

Get this, the Padres have been favored the last 3 days...normally I wonder what these guys know...obviously not as much credence as I have given them in the past...

Time to take out the hound...as the woman is still hobbled with a bad blister...

This from the unbelievable isle...the Portland Blazers have NO PICKS in the top 60 this time around...what?...and outside of defensive stupidity, they have a severe lack of depth...what are they thinking?...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
