Haven

Have to admit it doesn't get much better than this oasis...our go to HAVEN just a couple of hours away from us...PALM SPRINGS...found a beautiful hotel....right in the heart of the city...so we can walk anywhere....which appears to be our mantra...just 31 rooms...pool, hot tub, sauna, bar, food....eegads...anyway...we packed a lot into the 3 days, there....get this...met up with two sets of rain birds from the great state of Orygun...so much fun...meandered about the humongous street fair on Thurs eve...played golf at Mesquite...and saw Martina McBride in concert out at Fantasy Springs Casino...which by the way, has a massive new events center...go figure...and thanks to the Mackles who made it possible, by baby sitting our little pupster...again!...

Got back in time to watch a bundle of sporting events...well, golf and football...as the Phoenix Open was won by a bloke who's daddy was a former star...and dang if he doesn't look just like him...the Walrus...er, his son...who beat the unlikeable long ball hitting foo, Bubba...Watson...who has a knack of blaming every one other than himself for his errant shots...the Waste Management Open, what I call the Soprano Open...

Speaking of Jersey...the Super Bowl...an extremely long version of a game...drawn out by as many add ons as you can find...and Crazy Horse was right...refer back to last Monday...as I said by at least 10 points for the Seattle Seahawks...well...it was way more...and really...boring...great game plan and execution...as this team has the depth of no other...defense wins championships, so it is said...Snooki posted something about a lead in by Fox...not sure what it was, but he was angered by it...anyway...the Hawks made Peyton look like any other old QB...oops, did I say that?...

Geez, I just got finished with Xmas and a birthday...and on comes Valentine's Day....is there ever a break?...hey, I'm on a fixed income...and the great state of Orygun keeps taking more and more from my measly check...

Some of you have questioned why I am called "Sir"...well...the RRSSS gave me my honor...it was a close vote...as my past roid's usage came up to the tribal council...wait, I said I never used...toked...inhaled...nothing....I convinced 'em...you know, the Renegade Redskin Secret Scalping Society...I am so blessed and thus labeled with such a cognomen....

Bruno Mars....was that a tribute to James Brown?...like watching the Walrus's son in action, I had the same feeling...well, we thought that there wasn't going to be another JJ nipplegate....and then...out came the Red Hot Chili Peppers, without shirts on...ala the RRSSS....ah, and nobody complained to the FCC, right?...not fair, as we saw BOTH nipples...

You have to say that heroine is deadly, right?...as the actor killed himself with it...the Hoffman guy...so sad...found with the needle in his arm...

Bills...geez, I thought that I just did them...and voila...they are back!...

In a mere 5 days we will celebrate the 50th year of the US landing of the Beatles on American soil....sounds like a war thinger...ha ha...saw the CNN version of it...kind of good...as Eddie said, "Here are the Beatles!"...changed the music scene immediately...seems benign now...

And so it goes, this fine February 3rd...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
