Anniversary
It's our 39th anniversary today, kids...and this is one of our traditions...spend 2 weeks in Maui...at Kaanapali Shores...and the dinner is always at Ruth's Chris...little things, I suppose that make it work...
Good lord, the Eagles have a season of doom ahead of them...I am afraid...as much as I want Chip to be successful, there are too many gaps in his team...the biggest being his QB...Mike Vick is...terrible...I wouldn't trust him as far as I could see him...and he is going to run the O?...Chip will have to bench him...and go with one of the others...which will create chaos around the locker room...brought about by Vick...AND...the defense is one of the worst in the league....there are those who will say it is the college system that doesn't work that Kelly brought in...not so...it's the band of characters he was stuck with...so...it will be a tough time...shoot...he's got a year to get the right people in...or he will be shown the door in the city of brotherly love...
The Bums won the west...and acted in a totally classless way in Arizona...dancing in the opponents pool...in their celebration...where are you in all of this Donny Baseball?...suddenly, I hope the others in the playoffs kick the crap out of them...
I didn't know the Pads had a 5 game set in Pitt...winning 4 of 5 ain't bad...now they go home and take on the Bums...it would be great to see SD lay some licks on LA...who will be resting some of their better players...notice, I didn't say guys...jerks...I do know that the Bums are throwing Volquez at his old mates in one of the games...
Cris and I played the Royal Course at Kaanapali yesterday...nice...but they have some nerve charging what they do...$180 a pop!...compare it to Kahili, which is $59...well, you can't do it...it just takes 30 minutes of drive time...and well worth it...but, we can say we played it...and playing a set of 18 holes of golf with my son is priceless...
Happy hour...as we inhabit this area...we become very astute at which ones are the best...Embassy Suites, a quick 200 ft walk to the left (E, S, N, or W, have no idea)...and we are there...cheap drinks, and cheap eats...and many TV screens set to sports...by the way, somebody bought out that place...not sure of the name change....
The finals in the PGA...Tiger who?...as he was next to last in the field of 30...eegads...he plays that course in Atlanta terribly...so who will emerge?...ha ha...not him...
Downloaded the new op system for the iPhone...cool....and faster...put it on both of ours...better in all ways...bigger font...bigger apps...
OK....gots to get out to the pool...it's that time of the day...
