Oh my, the trick of it all...doing a live "Sound of Music"...basically a form of the stage version...NOT a reproduction of the Julie Andrew's Movie...and many critics had a problem with that...obviously never seen a play of it...so...Crazy Horse's review?...which, in fact, is the only one that counts, right?...Carrie Underwood was sensational...her voice was spot on...and the show it self kept my interest throughout...here's the deal...I wish they would have had an audience...to react...to the singing and the dialog...to those who didn't like it, you had the option to change channels...I hope you did...you didn't pay a nickel for your seat...ha ha...me?...was amazed at the abilities of that girl...

Nelson Mandela...the passing...fantastic journey...even though he was incarcerated for way too many years of it...and his legacy will include the breakdown of racial barriers...which white people have always had an issue...he has helped it just be "people"...interesting that he started out as an aggressor, then turned to the ways of MLK...wonderful man, with great patience...

Your cross town rivals in sport...nothing better than playing in them...or coaching in them...or being in the crowd watching them...I can still remember back in my junior year in high school, we played ours 4 times!...really!...and we swept them...it was a glorious year...and to wear your school jacket with a basketball on it around town...special...well, I digress...SDSU took on theirs in USD last eve...throw out who is supposed to win...and throw out records...even though this year, they are both winning...and it came down to one last shot...as the Aztecs were up by one...and the Toreros go the last shot...a good one...that missed...dang...

The battle of NY...the Knicks vs the Nets...eegads...both teams embattled...and the rumor is that both coaches are on their way out...as NY ripped Brooklyn by 30...30!...that kid, Kidd, is way over his head...as the Family Von Trapp would sing, "Good Bye!"...

One thing about the NBA...you could be on top of the world for a week or so...but you play soooo many games...and in a short time, you could be licking your wounds...so, Blazer fans, be vary wary of the Jazz who come to town...Utah has been playing better...and there is a natural letdown from PDX...close one...

Are you following the dilemma of the FSU QB?...he was implicated in a rape charge of a gal, a year ago...he is the leader of the football team...which is ranked at the top of the BSBCS...and the police decided not to charge him with any charges...complicated...and full of holes...

We are going Xmas shopping today...what do you have on your wish list?...did you say a battery powered, plug in Prius?...I thought you did...

You think the Texans are tanking so they can get the top pick in next year's draft?...there are those out there saying so...do they want Johnny Football that much?...he's a bit on the smallish side for that brutal league...right?...

I see that it is supposed to be snowing in the great Northwest...now THESE are the days I miss...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
