Bolts Win

Just a few weeks back, San Diego was listed as less than a 1% chance of making the playoffs...really...WELL...the near impossible, er improbable happened...
Miami had the inside track...and then it was Baltimore, the reigning Champs...it would take a total collapse of both of them...and SD winning out...and in the last week...er yesterday...the Dolphins lost to the embattled Jets...whose coach, one of the Baby Boy Ryans, had to win to secure his job...and the Ravens lost to the Bengals...who were fighting for playoff position....so far so good...

The Chargers were in with a win...and they were hosting another team already in the playoffs...the Kansas City Chiefs (?)...who decided to rest 20 of their 22 starters....sure thing then, right?...not so fast my friends...KC is loaded with depth...and led SD the entire game...which would mean, with a loss, the last spot would go to the Pittsburgh Steelers...got it?...the Bolts got hot in the 4th and tied the bloody game up....and then endured a drive by KC...that set them up to win...and their normally sure footed FG kicker....MISSED!...OT, baby...where SD won...incredible...

Give all the credit to the success of the Chargers to the new staff...rearranging the style of QB Phillip Rivers...the RB Mathews became a stud, with sticky fingers...and a better D...still, SD is lacking depth...which they will fill with a good upcoming draft...it is nothing but uphill, kids...had to get rid of that "Guru" Norv Turner....who is still considered an offensive genius by some...not me...did you see what staff got fired after just one season?...the one that Norv was on...ha ha...

The other big game for CH...was the Eagles and the Cowboys in Dallas...win and you are in, lose and you are out...unfortunately, QB Romo got injured in last week's game...so he was already out...dang...their backup was better than Tony and it was a barn burner...and Philly, with Chip's coaching, got the W...and are IN!...

Super Sunday!...

I didn't talk much about my golf on Saturday...walked the course for the 1st time in 6 months...was playing well...and something went poof in my left ankle...you know, it's the pillar to the swing...that left side...and I couldn't even finish the round...ice, elevation, ibuprofen, and repeat...it's getting better...I have, er want to play on New Year's Day...if I do, I'll ride, thank you very much...geez, I miss my cart...

Somebody actually told me that they enjoyed the K fam...that I have been too harsh on them...that they are a solid group...with good morals...and have raised their kids to become, well...what did they become?...do they work?...oh yea, right, they have some clothe shoppes...and they have some tapes they sell...and lordy, what doctor doesn't afford his Tesla without all the $ he has raised altering their faces?...yea, I am waaaaaayyyyyy off base...

There is an Olympics to be held in Russia very soon...and there also is a band of evil people testing the bomb market there too...I'll never, ever, figure out why those bastards do that...that is some God they are praying to...right?...much different than the one that we do...apparently...

Just another beautiful day in paradise...these days just keep on a coming...

Oops, I just saw that the Ducks are playing in the Alamo Bowl...today...there are way too many of these games....sorry D-1 fans, but it's true...anyway, good luck Ducks!

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
