Best and Worst of 2013
Morning kids...it's a beautiful day here in the Q...or close to it...I guess we are actually called in the Marina...ha ha...whatever...another long string of hot weather...there were incidents yesterday, like my ankle stress trying to walk the course...and the collapse of coaching in the PDX loss to the Heat (minus LeBron) at home...BUT...today I give you the lists...the Best...and the Worst...of the year...
You know, I have the everyday thing going for me...that affects my judgment...and I am a little bit off...and what I like may not be what you do...it's OK....it's my blog...and feel free to throw stuff at me...and or add to the lists...or to delete what I write...and in no particular order...here we go...
The Best....
Maui...geez, it's where we go every year for our anniversary...and stay for 2 weeks...it is heaven on earth...yes, Katy Perry, there is one...the weather is perfect...the place we stay is perfect...it's just perfect...
Online shopping...where else can you get what you want from the confines of your home...and see as many reviews of what you are buying?...and get it delivered in record breaking time...this has improved so much over the years....
Nook...for your books...rivals the Amazon one...prices are similar...and the selections are massive...I have a cheepy...Santa got Cris and Leila the more advanced ones...and the product is way cool...
Cox Commercials...what?...are you kidding me?...yes...they are hilarious...as we go through the perils of "Paul"...and he reminds us of one of our friends...so much...
Target...well...it is what the Orygun folk have in their Fred Meyer...one stop shopping...and now food...it is a go to store...there are NO OPTIONS in SD...
NBC...for having the courage to produce a musical play..."The Sound Of Music"...and do it live...nobody has done anything like this in a long time...fuggit about the critics comparing the product to the movie version...it's LIVE...
Facebook...a great vehicle to keep track of people in your past...and keep it present...I suppose this goes right along with the internet itself...and the world can see what you and your friends are up to...
Palm Springs...what, another destination?...yes...it's our go to place...a couple of hours away...great golf and weather...which we have found this past year....
The Worst...must be my frame of mind...but I have many more of these than the best...do I think negatively?...am I downer?...am I depressing you?...oops...
igoogle....the home page I used forever...they closed it down and left us with very poor alternatives....and lordy, I have tried a bunch...
Obamacare...not necessarily the product, but the unparalleled process of implementation...which was as bad as anything ever...should have hired a bunch of young techies and got the job done...right...
Miley Cyrus...the most disgusting thing of the year...who continues to flaunt whatever she wants to the public...and gives the word "repulsive" a deeper meaning...
Target...what?...it was on the best list...and also on the worst...for allowing an extreme breach in their security system...
Botox...for anyone who uses it...nobody, and I mean nobody, looks better with this substance in their system...downright a freak show in many cases...
All movies...I don't know who to blame...the producers, writers, directors?...for all the hype for the product the visual is all turrible...quick, name me one...one great one...
Congress....for their capitulation to the Gun Lobbyists...as we continue to fall prey to the sick and demented who can fulfill their life ending nightmare, using the rapid fire guns to take as many people with them...
K Fam... this is a yearly dishonor...as somehow the public and or TV continues to show them...for whatever reason...and put a new twist to awful shows...the smelly _____ is just one of their best episodes...er, worst...and, geez, oh my....
The Biebs...finding new ways to embarrass himself on a daily basis...
There you go...there are closies....but the ones listed have their own strings that leave them on the extremity of reality....I know, I know, you think that I may be crazy...
