Your Perception

Some times we get bogged down by the little things...in life...and make much too much of them...like waiting for the channel to return from a commercial...which seems to last like forever...instead of using that space and go rinse out a glass...which is half full, or half empty?...how do YOU perceive things?...do you go round the day thinking that there is not enough time to complete all your tasks...or do you feel like you got a lot of things done for this one....and feel satisfied...and that's the key...YOUR LEVEL OF SATISFACTION...can you make more money?...can you own more toys?...can you have a bigger condo?...can you have a better view?...can you have a newer car?...can you have a head of darker hair?...can your mate treat you better?...can you get a better mate?...ha ha...you see where I am going with this...calm down, people...relax and enjoy what you have...it's pretty dang good...not that you shouldn't set goals to advance, but get real...

I like to listen to those who rant about God's Will...settling for what is inevitable, due to their Christian upbringing...or whatever it takes to feel that feeling...like going to a church, synagogue, or whatever the meeting place is...and listening to whomever tell you HOW it should be...this thrill to win...happens in faith a lot...sure seems like that set of people have a certain politician that they feel MUST WIN to perpetuate their feelings...always wondered what team God was on when Notre Dame and Boston College played...I mean, they were both asking a lot for the help...I digress...

You are driving on the highway and some bloke or blokette cuts you off...what do YOU do?...smile?...curse?...flip the finger?...give them the circle?...call them names?...does it depend on your mood?...does being a person of faith affect your reaction?...or are we all in this together?...same feelings by all?...on of my faves, chased down an offender and confronted the said person...not recommended...or should you be relieved that you were not in an accident?...that, outside of that brief insurrection, all is well...and you can go on...

Obamacare...now I am testing you big time...with the apparent inadequacies in this new system...and the insecurity of the health insurance businesses...with those companies anticipating a zap into their dollar foundations...unleash a barrage of monetary changes to you, the insured...and upping your premium substantially....hey, these companies are in to MAKE MONEY...yes, to insure you...but to MAKE MONEY...and their perception is that they are going to have to raise more of it from YOU...to fund their losses in Obamacare...I call this OBAMASCARE!...it has just begun, but these insurers have already done their thing....their glass is HALF EMPTY...

Reminds me of the time way back when there was a sugar shortage...and the soft drink companies raised their prices from a dime a can to $.45!...and...I'll never get this, the price of TAB rose right along with it...and it was sugar free...I digress...the amounts of the sweet stuff returned...BUT...the prices remained the same...and still are at that level...which makes me wonder...will the same thing happen to the health insurance companies?...now, I am feeling like the glass is half full...

Crap, now I'm in a bad mood...so I better get back to talking sports...the Clips had a super game against the OKC Thunder (Soopersonics) and get a big W...not without a mini brawl...which, of course, Matt Barnes was involved...and booted...and the end of the PDX game with the Suns was a beaut...as the Blazers continue their upward swing...good on them...as they got the W, too...there is more parity in the league than I anticipated....which is a good thing...not just the bloody Heat and Lakers dominating...

Football tonight...Clemson and Georgia Tech...???...as the Yellow Jackets run that bloody triple option...if you are set for a boring experience, here's your chance..."can't stop that offense, man"...a famous coach (?) once told me...ha ha...and the pro game is Indy at Tennessee...hmmm...half empty...wait, half full....geez, I don't know...instead, watch the Arizona vs SDSU hoops game...it will be a good one...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
