THE Game

This is the GAME of the season...the University of Oregon
traveling to Palo Alto, to take on the host Stanford Cardinal...new school versus old school...football...tonight...nationally aired...number 2 and number 5 duking it out...speed vs strength...in GOOD weather...I know the GPN has been hit with the wet stuff...the line?...UO by 10 1/2...CH take?...too many points...I have this like 42-35...something like that...of course, I am NEVER right...we were there 2 years ago in a similar situation...and the Ducks had a field day...last year?...Stanford stunned in Eugene...good stuff, my friends...

CMA's...the hosts, Brad and Carrie, were great...the winners?...it seems like some producers say it's time to get some new blood in the top spots...Florida Georgia Line...or something like that vaulted up...???...and please, Miranda is cute and all...but there are far better singers than she...oh well...the kids in the know, like her...and her boy toy, BS...who can sing...BUT...name a song that he has in the last 3 years...go ahead...and George Strait as "Entertainer of the Year"...what?...he has longevity, that's for sure...

Survivor...if you like back stabbing, blood curdling, downright lying...as a staple...you will love this show...who doesn't like a great fib now and then...and these kids have all day to figure out a scheme to screw over their buddy...isn't there a name for this?...the production of this series is wonderful...the cast changes up just enough to make it cool...good guys (gals) and bad guys (gals), a plenty...what's not to lurve?...

The golf T yesterday...first of all, it was only 79* out...and not a spot of wind...OK, it was perfect...and my crew of 4 hit every single green...well we were on the fringe a couple of times...and yet...only made 5 birdies...what?...the gang who couldn't putt...but our handicap was pretty high...we might have got a 3rd or the like...haven't heard yet...had a 59.65...odd score, huh...my cart mate?...none other than Whiskey Pete...I can't make this up...an old Charger player...we were dubbed Pete and Repeat...

The NBA...in particular, the Clips...were in Orlando...and get beat by the home team...the NBA...as CP111 stunk it up in the final minute...looked tired and worn out...what?...it's what happens in this league...way too many games...all over the land...cut the season in half...ha ha...like that would ever happen...that means the salaries would be cut in half...never happen, kids...

So many reports on the concussions in sports...football in particular...and how it wrecks you for the rest of your life...imagine what the world looks like for professional boxers...or those crazy MMA peops...

Still looking for them flapjacks...

 PS...Enough with Charlie (Chas) Sheen...NOBODY CARES!

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
