Upset City

College football had a rash of them things called "upsets"...the bigger ones?...Clemson, getting mauled by Florida St...UCLA, by Stanford (upset, I don't know, CH)....LSU, by Ol' Miss...South Carolina, by Tennessee...Georgia, by Vandy...UDub, by Ariz St (what a major fall for them Huskies)...there will be a major shakeup in the top 25 for sure...the computer rankings will be awkward...

The very top teams continued their streaks...'Bama easily over Arkansas...the Ducks over WSU...Ohio St over Iowa...after that...it will be a huge shake, rattle, and roll...look for passionate voters, making a case for their favs...Mizzou, Baylor, and Florida St, in particular...

Beisbol...the stage is set for the World Series...as Bosox took a grand salammy by Mauian Victorino...and rode that to the series win over Detroit...as the Tigers had little hitting (esp Fielder), and even worse relieving...sorry Cliffy, but it's true...and play Saint Looey...don't care who wins...

The talented team of Lindvedt and Shepard were in 3rd place at press time in the big T out at Sycuan...definitely a plate of ham and egging went on...him early, and me late...

Sad to tell you kids that my son tore up his achilles...eegads...so he begins the treatment process...and the difficult process of working with a boot on...you can just imagine the dedication that is needed...he has been way too active...and we head up north to help out...

I am starting a guy on my FF team that no one knows about...I don't even think he is on the GB roster...I trusted SI for the tip...ha ha...my streak will match that of the NY Giants soon...
