Insanity Later....I promise you I will back off from this most frustrating and yet, bogus issue...the collegiate game's race to the title game in D-1 Football...and the process that is used by system is run by the computer called the BCS...which I call the Bull Shit BCS system...er, the BSBCS...sorry about that...anyway...the 1st such rankings of the season are out...and of course, the east has it's two teams in the top 2 spots...which you must be in, to play for the title...next year, there will be a mini-playoff of 4 teams...a step in the right direction...

Let's get into it...all season thus far, Alabama has ruled the roost...justifiably....and Oregon, has been number 2...and this week...that is the ranking of those teams in the rankings that are the most visible...the AP, the USA Today's Coaches, and the Harris Poll...but the ones that are hidden...and have the most questions about them...make up the "computer rankings"...where the $ stuff is...and where, somehow, Florida St has snuck by the Ducks...what?...let's look at FSU...

You could say, they have played nobody...as those back east say about the Ducks...FSU has NOT...in fact, the only remotely tough game for them, was the power house (cynical), Boston College...all else, have been patsies...in fact, they only have 2 tough games on their schedule...Miami and Florida...with some of the likes of Wake Forest and Idaho to go...the Vandals?...this late?...oh my...and yet, they zoomed by UO...why?...makes you wonder...

It is a corrupt system for sure...where the upfront people, get over-ruled by the behind the scene's ones...

I see where there are those of you, who say that if Oregon runs the table, they will get the 2nd spot...of course, that means that 'Bama does the same...I say, not so fast, my friends...if Florida St goes undefeated, they WILL get one of the spots...regardless of what the Ducks do...it's all in the $...not sure where, or by whom...

Oh my...and do not forget about the Ohio St Buckeyes, the Baylor Bears and the Mizzou Tigers...there are frustrating times ahead...if you are from the west coast....or even, Miami, Texas Tech, Fresno St, or even, Northern Illinois...SERENITY NOW!....just enjoy the games...

NFL..ha ha...take what I said about the Eagles/Boyz game...play the over...ha ha...it was 3-0 at half...Philly lost another QB...and the game, 17-3...I know nothing about the league...and the Bolts...whupped the lifeless Jags...a big one...really...as Denver lost at Indy...the same team that we ripped the week before...go figure...there is a long way to go...so far, KC has the upper hand in the division...

We missed a week of the Amazing Race...not sure who got the boot...and we were lost on what was going on...my team was still in it...I have the baseball wives...looks like their departure is imminent...

The Bosox are favored over Saint Looey in the Series...really?...I just don't know...

The Giants are favored over Minnesota in the only game this eve...it's at NY...that must be the reason...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
