Katy Perry and GMA ran this thinger, where the best usage of her hit song
"Roar" in a video...by a high school...won a concert by her...at the winner's place...cool stuff...so, over 1000 schools did just that and submitted their's...the promoters whittled it down to the top 5...and they got shown on GMA...and this am...Katy picked her fave out...it was what I did at the last 2 high schools I taught...ran assemblies and did promotional things...nothing brings a school together like this type of thing...big time kudos to Katy and GMA!...the winner was out of Colorado...

MLB...the Bosox got 2 of 3 in Detroit....huge wins...BUT...the top 2 pitchers in the league go for the Tigers in their do or die series back in Boston...now...I am interested...over in the NL...the same drama lingers....as the Bums are down 3-2...head east to Saint Looey...and throw their best at the Cards...yup, interested again...

Geez, I forgot that Seattle had a game last eve...on the bloody NFL Network...they did win...and continue on...a victorious trip through the league...

The line...on the Ducks is 39...in the warmth of Eugene...70* weather there now...nice...which means that there will be lots of scoring...and the Beavs are at Cal...still a 10 1/2 point fav...hmmm...good luck to the entire state of Orygun...

The aftermath...of the Shut Down...is the disarray of the Repub Party...the finger pointing...the blame... the Tea Party...the lack of leadership...the ridiculous statements by some of their spokespeople...catch the quote by Michele Bachman...Wow!...

Am reading the latest book about Johnny Carson...written by his attorney, the Bombastic Bushkin...JC was a horrible drinker...and did it lots...fantastic read...takes you back into time...regardless of his private life, he was the best late night host....EVER!....lurve the Nook...

Golf T in the am...have to get out and do some putting today...the most critical part of all these...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
