Halloween

There is no day like it...this goofy day of mischievous acts and actions...and you bet, I am heading on out to Sycuan for some of that there golf...9:04 Tee...so I always leave an hour early to sign in, warm up, and chatter like a ghost...I am still taking a cart...you know,  preventative stuff...but am itching to pack me bags...

Get this...I had my yearly at the eye doctor...and my vision IMPROVED!...how can that be?...I'm old and it's supposed to go the other way, right?...must be due to the BP meds...I guess...that's kind of halloweeny, si?...

Big Papi ended the Series at .688...and won the MVP...the Cards wouldn't pitch to him...walking him
4 times, I think...and the Bosox rambled through and easily won the clincher in game 6...some big hullabaloo about not clinching since 1918...ha ha...every year is a diff year, kids...way cool that Peavy (former Pad) got a ring...

The Heat and the Lake Show had back to back games in their season...already...and they both got dumped...ha ha...the Blazers played like crap and lost to the unheralded Suns...if Aldredge ever played down low, on O or D, I'd be shocked...good outside scorer...but the softest big man in the game...NBA package is free for the 1st week...so I can watch all the games I want...so can you...most of them are not HD...don't like that...I will try the Apple TV and see if that is diff...

The TV land is filled with their annual Halloween Shows...I like 'em...but will miss 'em...due to the golf...oh well....you kids...have a safe time, trick or treating...and...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
