Syria Debate

I don't know...my gut says one thing, and my brain says the other...watching the Congressional delivery by Sec of St, John Kerry...to the boyz on the hill...and listening to those who just can't all know the facts...I am torn...nobody knows for sure...other than Kerry...didn't we hear the same crap right before we invaded Iraq?...weapons of mass destruction...hey, I  am NOT saying that it didn't happen...I'm just questioning the truth...and let's say for argument sake, the rebels take over...who are these rebels?...what religious faction are they?...and I hear there are no boots on the ground, in this proposal...hmmm....do you really believe that?...and that the more we delay, Syria will hide their stuff...just like Sadam did...well, he hid himself...in a hole...I digress...

So, if we don't depend on the oil reserves out of that country, we are simply saying that we are fighting for the rights of humanitarianism...right?...why didn't we do that in places like Somalia?...was it a wrong time?...I mean, I am bewildered...

Or, are we, in reality protecting Israel?...which I can understand...BUT...we never, ever, talk about that...

And, what if we don't bombard Syria?...does that mean we show weakness in the area?...like we will be hated more?...ha ha...I doubt that...

Let's get down to the facts...other than in "closed sessions"...find a common ground of other countries...how about those in the surrounding area...do not...I repeat...do not act in haste....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
