The Amazing Race started up last eve...it is a great show...Marsh and I each pick a winner and rib each other as the season progresses...she picked the Oklahoma guys and I picked the baseball wives...after the telecast got going, it was apparent to us, we both have losers...ha ha...

By the way, after their abysmal start, the OSU Beavs have righted their ship...and appear to be a whole lot better than I thought...not sure of their schedule, but I will keep a CH eye on them...

Reading a book about the legendary Don Felder...guitar guy, my age...grew up in Gainesville, FL...home of the Gators, kids...he who bounced around many, many groups...I'm at the spot, where the Eagles asked him to join their band...lots of bickering between the 2 top dogs, Henley and Frey...still...very interesting stuff...takes me back...pegged pants...remember them?...the beginning of the drug scene...which I was not a part of, thank you...but it was all around me...this Nook thinger is way cool...do you have such a device?...they are cheap and ez to use...
As much as I thought that Coach Lane Kiffin's time had run out on his job at USC...the way he was fired was deplorable...by the former QB of the Trojans, now AD Pat Haden...as Haden met the team flight at 3:45 in the am coming back from Arizona...brought Kiffin into a side room and unloaded the boom...classless act by a continuing classless school...shame on him and them...what a bloody mess...
