Is there such a word?...what an awesome start for the Eagles and Chip Kelly!...as they used his same style that he patterned at the U of O...and it was exciting...and fun to watch...have to admit, I got nervous just like I do when I cheer for the Ducks...as the Washington crowd was stunned...

Not that they didn't get going later on, as the Skins made it way interesting...I thought that Philly went to their prevent game way too soon...surprised me, as Chip didn't do that at Oregon...he was guarded, i suppose....there are a whole lot of naysayers out there....

In the 2nd game of the night...the Bolts were way ahead, 28-7...and fell apart...let's be honest, SD is not a good team...and their QB Rivers, is way past his prime...as witnessed to his debacle in the 4th Q...BUT...just as brutal, was the lack of defense that the Chargers have...it's what I saw in preseason...and, well, it will be a very long one...4 or 5 wins...at best...this night it was the Texan's turn...and hit a game winning FG at the buzzer...

OK, the Apple iphone 5s is out today...and to get into, er log into the device...you just put your finger print on the screen...and voila...it starts, in lieu of the password stuff...it will be a mad house at the Apple Store...me?...ha ha...I have to wait until February to change...and by then, they'll have the i6 out...and...they say they did improve the battery...and the camera is to have more mega pix...

Syria...well, this would have been the headline, if it were not for Chip...eegads, the Duck roots are long...anyway...Russia chimed in...asked for the heathens to turn over their chemical stuff...and the tension has been reduced...it was a great worldwide statement...makes me feel that there is hope...Syria said they would abide by what was asked...we"ll see...looks good thus far...think Prez O isn't behind all this?...he's a very smart man...you conservatives will fight this big time...don't rush to judgment...

At din din the other night, we had a round table discussion of things...and one of things that was not discussed...where each of us were when the 9-11 tragedy happened...as the date comes up tomorrow...what were you doing?...me?...we were in Sunriver....just turned on the tube, and thought it was a movie...and watched in horror...we promptly went home...

Are you following the Zimmerman fiasco?...makes me feel that he was more at fault than we were lead to believe...I could be wrong....but. it's a feeling...seems like a bad guy...but his story keeps getting deeper and longer...

The weather...finally...it has cooled off to normal SD temps...and it is a welcome relief...actually get to walk at night with a light jacket on...much prefer it to the muggy stuff we have had for the last 2 or 3 weeks...
