Peyton Manning...WOW!...7 TD passes on opening night...those of you who thought he was a step closer to AARP, fuggit about it...as the Broncos destroyed the Super Bowl Champs...the Ravens...2nd half onslaught...

Here's the deal...one of the crucial times in the 3rd period...a shortish pass to the newly acquired wideout, Wes Welker...who clearly had the ball bounce on him...and it was ruled a catch...2 plays later, Denver scored...in lieu of an incompletion and a punt...and the announcers lambasted the Balt Coach for not tossing his red protest flag...wait a minute...they should have been lambasting the inept officiating...who had that happen to them twice...same official...the umpire...THATS'S the guy...

Did you see the video that the NY Times aired on the Syrian rebels?...where they lined up a group of the opposition and then shot them all, gangland style...very disturbing...and we are supporting whom?...all very confusing...just what would happen if the present regime was bombarded?...what would be left?...the same Q that compounded our missions in Iraq and Afghanistan...seems to me that what is left over is total chaos...we need more time to think this over, right?...

OK, I listened to a guy "in the know"...who was on PBS last eve...so it must be true, right?...and he was talking about the Prez trying to stay away from Syria now for the last 2 years...and enough is enough, is the attitude...he also said that for the very first time we have sent in CIA guys and CIA trained soldiers into that country...WE KNOW NOTHING!...we are just pawns watching from afar...and hoping our chosen leaders make the right decision...

Far less in depth...we bought a new dining table...made from distressed wood...teak...weighs a ton...total rustic look...kind of reminds me of my mom's old wood table...as we remodel our place...this store we went to had nothing but...was way cool...so different from the chain furniture stores...get this...the moving company had 5 guys doing the work...FIVE!...never, ever seen that many..

This heat wave continues...have to admit, this is the 1st time in 6 years here...really, we have been here that long?...part of the reason that I have stayed away from the GC...hot on the coast, and over 100* in Sycuan...

As NFL teams come and go...the Bolts have been an issue of the same ever since we got here...the franchise wants a new, modern stadium...rumored to be all over the area...the one that has come back up...and the real one...is to build it connected to the Convention Complex...and make this the best in the business...it already is in the top of the list...this would just solidify it more...which is here in downtown...blocks away...I really think it will happen in the next 3 or 4 years...the plans are way cool...

We swam mega laps yesterday...and I feel it totally...my entire body is sore...what?...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
