For all of the hullabaloo about the upcoming NFL season...injuries and all...it's still a month away...throw out all these ridiculous pre-season games...that some blokes actually wager on...and settle down...it's just practice, kids...however...the Bolts have had significant injuries to their wide receiver corps...very significant...and one month won't do it, I fear...so expect some oldies but goodies to inhabit this land...very soon...like Ochocinco
, Terrell Owens, and others...really...like on a look see...this will really test this management...by the way, Mante is injured...remember, a month to go...

Eegads, the Pads in their biggest stinker of the year...got lambasted by the Rockies...as we made 4 errors or so...14-2...as this season is spiraling down...down...down....major changes are needed in the offense...good thing I didn't rent to the lefty....as he got rocked again...he may have a short stint in the bigs...and so it goes...

Pick 6 carryover again at Del Mar...every Sunday thus far...and the entries are in the Trib today for tomorrow's programs...lots of 'em...very tough day...eenie, meenie, miney, moe....or maybe the quick pick...or...colors of the head gear of the jocks...

I swear there is as much talk about the falter of Tiger as the emergence of Jason...please pundits...Woods has won 5 times this year...5!...it's just not a major...so what?...

I did not watch the Country Concert from ABC last eve...taped it and that is this night's item...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
