OK, it's just not the same as in Eugene...not that I ever went there for it...but...the beginning of the Ducks season is upon us...and it is on FS1...at 1 pm...yeah...kind of a big upset last eve...as North Dakota St beat Kansas St at Kansas...of course, NDS is a power house on their level...but...KSU is a good un on theirs...big V...really...by the way, the final score of the Trojan game?...30-10 over Hawaii...spells t-r-o-u-b-l-e for USC...ha ha...Johnny Football suspended for the 1st half of the Rice game...he would have sat the 2nd half anyway...as the rout will be on, with or without him...boo, NCAA...your Beavs take on East Washington...it's not covered anywhere down here...no line no nothing...so it's a slam bam, right you Beaver nation kids?...OK, we'll talk later...

The Pads are turrible...duh...as they got embarrassed by the Bums...like 9-1 or something...inept pitching, hitting, and fielding...just a conglomerate of ugly...as I said would happen...my son made the mistake of watching it...LA feed...and he called all frustrated...until we make major changes, this will be our mantra...disgusting, I say...hey, it got so bad...that they (LA) pitched the bloke we just cut, Edison Volquez...who they picked up...and he naturally, mowed this sorry ass group down...made him look good...as all pitchers pretty much do...booooooooooo....booooooo....

Syria...depending on what new source you follow...the strikes are imminent...I even heard that we would destroy their air force in a matter of hours...all shit I have heard before...it's a very bad situation, that this Prez needs to rethink...I am NOT in favor of going it alone...wonder why we are so hated in that region?...duh...

Big rumor about the new crew at Dancing With The Stars...like maybe Britney is aboard...what?...I doubt it...but...she has been sequestered...and that could be the thing...as the participants are already in training...even the rumor of LiLo...another I doubt...but it makes for great speculation...the real peops are named next Wednesday...

Lamar...snowballing out of control...as he was picked up for a DUI...or allegedly...as he refused to take any tests...which means his license is automatically revoked for a year...imagine the Kardashian TV Show using this blockbuster...

Watched the Carrie Underwood Concert DVD last eve...she is absolutely amazing...and either buy it or rent it...you, too, will be in presence of greatness...

Today we have the enjoyment of watching Lefty and Tiger in the same group in Mass...Mickelson is on fire...it will be fun to see if Woods can pick it up and compete against him...I say no...Tiger seems to be fighting his putter...and...all those pros are ripping that course apart...starts at 10, I think...

So much to watch...and we have decided to get out to Del Mar on Labor Day..."and away they go"...Trevor Denman...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
