Damn Yankees

OK, not really...as the Pads won the series...behind great pitching by newcomer Kennedy...6-3...and SD now has won 4 straight series...a very good sign...the bad part?...SS Cabrera should be put on hold for he rest of the season...get this...the guy who MLB really wants is ARod....who says he is joining the Yankees tomorrow...and will appeal his decision...and continue to play....why don't all the accused do so?...go to court and get after it...why not?...I don't get it if they are innocent...stay tuned...

Tiger in a walk...won by 7 or 8 strokes...as he played par...he was so far ahead...that he could cruise...at Firestone...lordy, when he is on, he is the best...just like when Lefty is on...a world of their own...

Out of nowhere came the leading lady out of the southern US of A...and won the Women's British Open...Stacy Lewis...as the gal from South Korea bogeyed her little heart out and got beat...How about Morgan?...4 putted a hole on the back and that was that...great win for Stacy, as she birdied the last two, to getter done...

I have no idea what the blokes are doing in Reno...something about Stableford...positive, rather than negative....I kind of like the scoring on it...I was just fooling you...

Del Mar...yesterday the Pick 6 was hit 5 times....for like $400,000 grand each...conglomerates...I had two right...there were some long shots....so the big players tied up a bunch of them hosses...boo, unless you are involved...

Big Brother tonight...you watching?...mindless TV...which fits us well...that LiLo lookalike has got to go...8 pm...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
