Morning kids....
After watching the 1st pre-season game of the year...the Chargers versus the Seahawks...I'm reminded that you can't read too much into 'em...BUT...I will say that the offensive line looked better...if you can tell much from one possession...and...overall the 1st strings are a step up...and...Seattle is tough, tough, tough...and very deep...which means good stuff for them...real good stuff...if you can judge anything from one pre-season game...I'll be interested as to what the Trib's experts say this am...
The PGA...great start for a lot of the blokes...Jim Furyk (?) and Adam Scott, at 5 under...which in any other year would win this thing outright...Lefty and Tiger?...the two that most everyone has on the radar as probable winners...both one over...and didn't play that badly...lots of golf to go...and TNT or TBS has it again...and it will be the Tiger round that they will follow...appears to be a great and challenging GC....
Big Brother...didn't see that coming...Judd got blindsided...in a double elimination...and you probably saw it before me...it was on at 10...after the football game...have to admit, this may be the most dislikable set of contestants they have EVER had...
The Fires...in the San Gabriels...east of LA...seems like it is a yearly phenomena....and not sure why one would ever build a home there...and with nothing stop the blazes, the winds just drive it so quickly...
The Pads...I fear that the season is going to drop off to nowhere...no life on the team...when the SS Cabrera was aboard, he gave spunk and enthusiasm...he's banned and we are bummed...we have a bunch of guys who play with the attitude of not getting too high or too low...imagine the Dodgers with out Puig...as he came in with that special pizzazz to the team...and off they went...from worst to first...
Back to football....I watched the NFL Network, as it covered 4 games at a time...it was cool and gives me an idea about who to pick for my fantasy team...tonight is the Eagle/Patriot game...got to be extremely interesting to see the diff in Philly...and SI sent out their picks...I usually buy some periodical and go with that...thinking no one else has this edition...ha ha...
The last day for Joy Behar on the View...this is a big deal to you?...as one of the male peops who has watched the show over the years...I think it's significant...for that show...as she was the liberal to counter the conservative Elizabeth Hassleback...now, both gone...too bad...and the replacement?...Jenny McCarthy...don't get it...silly and not substantial...unless, I am wrong...me?...naw...
Leah Remini...this Scientology Church...what?...I am one of the big doubters of the religion...this TV star announced she was leaving the congregation...is that what you call it?...and then she started a battle against the "church."...a real strange tale...especially this "church"...it couldn't be a money saving place to worship, could it?...
Get this...we sold our condo for more than what we sold our Keizer House for....what?...just don't get it...I lurved the compound there...and do miss it and my friends there...if that were here, it would go for over a million bucks...no kidding...you should see what we look at here for that amount...amazing...
We keep saying we are going to go on a cruise...yup, really...the one that may happen...is the "trip to nowhere"...as it is called...travel up the coast to Vancouver BC...then rent a rig and drive down the coast line and stop at old, familiar, spots...sounds kinda cool, huh...Crosses, get our room ready!...wait, this is just a passing thought...it may or may not happen...who's got $?...
