Trades

It's the final 1/2 day of trades for MLB...so far, no movement for the Pads...which is kind of their mantra...eery thing last night, as LF Carlos Quintin was pulled in the middle of the game...and 3B Chase Headley wasn't even in the lineup, and RP Gregerson was not used in his 8th inning...all signs that there were probable trades in the works...so far, nuttin...

The game...another Pads win!...as the latter part of the lineup came through and voila!...a W!...Gyorko and Hundley were the combatants...both needed 'em...and we gain a game on the Rockies...our P Volquez, was his usual bewildering self...this game he was on...today's game is at mid day...and we are going for a surprise sweep...this crazy game...and the Yankees roll in next...it always kills me to see the number of NY fans that come out of the woodwork...they are certainly not all New Yawkers....kind of mixed emotions...as I want them to lose...to the Bums...but I want the Bums to lose, too...awkward...

By the way, one guy is absolutely on fire offensively and defensively...and is somehow lost in
translation...has been hitting the hide off the ball....and his diving catches are becoming legendary...finally his skills are catching up to his natural potential...Will Venable...they moved him to 5th in the lineup....keep him there!...

You following the Filner Fiasco?...our mayor is on his last days...as the city is now suing him...the walls are closing in on him, and he must be in a bunker or something...

Thanks for your support...as we are getting around 50-60 hits a day...someday, maybe this will spread to the hundreds...ha ha...Marsh wants someone to buy some property through the blog...what?...I tell her that this is a commentary on things...and little has to do with any type of business...er, none...

Today was supposed to be the PEDS day...again, no announcement...it is leaked that MLB gave the list to the Player's Union...and that's where it is now...it will be soon...

NFL...already there is a buzz about the Eagles and Coach Chip Kelly...the referees are saying that THEY control the tempo of the game...not the teams...what?...so somehow, Kelly has to do his thing and not get the dander of them bloody refs up...I'm confused to how it's going to work...the pundits are major doubters...

Del Mar...the Pick 6 is a carryover...so I have been looking at the program today...I think I will invest $2...it's like a lottery tix...Cliffy, you looked into a TVG account yet?...it's really cool...watch the races on TV...listen to their experts...I am very cautious...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
