Rain

And yup, we woke up to more RAIN!...geez, give us a break...well, we got a morning of sun yesterday...not so much thus far today...

It's like being on the north west coast...wait, that's a name for whom?....eegads...one thing I failed to mention in our flight out here...Marsh lost a filling...when we weren't served much food...she resorted to munching on some of my trail mix...so...she went to get a temporary fix at a random dentist here in CB...2 hours later...she gets the hole patched with more than she wanted...by an elder DDS...we were going to wait to get 'er done by Dr. Cris...oh well, we had the time...

One thing we do have...time...and I am reading the book on Paul Anka..."My Way"...did you know he dated Annette Funicello?...the it girl in our time...and he had an obsession with the "Rat Pack"...as he was there with them blokes...and if you believe him, he was right there, too...anyway, interesting read...especially in his beginnings...when he was touring as a 15 year old with the likes of the Everly Bros, Buddy Holly and the Crickets, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, and on and on...

The worst team in baseball is the Marlins...what?...as they won 3 of 4 against the Pads...actually shut them out this time...they are laughing at SD right now...and please, Chase Headley...move him down to 7th in the order...he is hitting less than the Mendoza Line...of course, that's not the only problem...it's a good place to start...

As I said before, the tv down here is all the Zimmerman trial...and they show it on all stations...so...we watch it...and...if you go by what the testimony has been...there are huge doubts to his being guilty...to a jury of but 6...all women...weird, huh...the prosecution must have more then this...they must...

Miss our dog Sammi so much...however, she wouldn't like this climate...too humid...she tells me all the time that she doesn't like to sweat...and would go to any lengths to dive into a pool of water to cool off...it's true...

OK, we would never ever get a convertible here again...it's just not the ticket...hey, we haven't even had an opp to boogie board...just why are we here?...

I am still upset that the Lone Ranger movie couldn't find a real injun to play Tonto...I mean c'mon...it's not the fifties anymore...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
